  • it s fast :)!!!!!!!!!!

  • That would be funny if it broke ate the end when you hit it haha

  • nose job! its micheal jackson!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • It is nice to see a repair video like this. I am a new pilot and was out flying my Cub LP in gusty wind when I took a nasty nose dive. Very discouraging! This video really shows how easy it is to fix and fly these airplanes. Confidence reestablished Thank Mike.

  • Hey Will. Nice repairs and mods on the Alpha jet.

I love my hotglue gun. Its the best $16 Ive ever spent.

  • CA and other glues are more expensive. Hot glue works a treat again and again and is dirt cheap!

  • Nice Job. I like the combo of flying, crashing, repairing and modifying all in one compact video. Plus you ended with an enticement to watch the next one on the rudder mod!

  • The person who invented the hot glue gun we salute you {"_*}

    great repair >

  • great video, thanks for posting

  • Nice job Will! Thats the beauty of foam.

  • how about a 70mm size inside it? will b more awesome

  • Wow.. speedy repair. How does the hot glue strength compare with cyano?

  • @carlosthecactus I think it would be stronger then CA, Only negative is it's heavier. But it so much easier to fill a gap with hotglue, has a longer working time and is cheaper. If CA could actoually chemically melt this foam then it would technically be as strong I guess but I just find CA hard to work with sometimes.

  • @MikeysRC I know what you mean about CA being tough to work wtih, I think i'll have to invest in a hot glue gun soon. Cheers!

  • @ 4:10 did you burn your finger? :)

  • @meakins355 kinda =)

  • sweet

  • what was the stock esc in there ?

  • @PcandTech A 40 amp ESC.

  • You're amazing! :)

  • boda bing bada boom, forget about it.

  • awesome vid . thanks.

would your repair procedure work with a parkzone stinson with Z foam. i got several cracks and dents in my wing from a tip stall with flaps down trying to fly too slow.

not to bad damage but ppl say that CA glue is best for foam, in my experience ca melts foam. and foam safe CA is like sugar water when dried.

Thanks for the info, and i still love your 1st gen runner. So cool.

  • @shelby02403 I'm not sure I have never had a z foam plane. Hot glue also partially melts the foam but as long as it's not too hot it will still work OK. Hot glue pretty much bonds to anything but it is WAY heavier than CA glue. I'd say try it on a small setion as see if it works.

  • i added a rudder to my alpha jet.. the airfram will just make ur plane go into a spin which looks cool if ur high up enough just watch out there hard to get out of

  • Man you're just too cool.. Keep up the great work..what happened to the A-10?? Did you retire her?? Send it this way..

  • @shypilito1 Well the original one I built took a hard landing / crash and broke the spar in the wing. Plus I yanked the EDF's to put in other projects. But the plans are all done so you can make one if you want.
