  • This is the most emotional piece of music I have heard since To Zanarkand, and to me that means something. I'm fairly sure you could use this music in place of it for the scene in the Summoner's Sanctum, and it would have the same effect.

  • @JohnAtDawn Final Fantasy X, if anyone's wondering.

  • 「消えない想い」, the title of this song, can be translated to both "Ever-Present Feeling" and "Trapped Thoughts". The latter is less literal and more interpretive but by no means incorrect.

  • WOOO THIS SONG IS GREAT.. i want cryed! :`(

  • Great soundtrack, but i thought it's called "Ever-present feeling"..?

  • Got a copy of the OST CD from some place or another, and this one is called "Trapped Thoughts". The other titles are the same. Wondering where everyone's getting "Ever-present Feeling" from. If it's in the in-game BGM extras thing, it might be an alternate translation, since MirrorMOON and whoever translated the names for the OST CD likely read it differently. Japanese can't really be "perfectly" translated to English, so both titles are likely correct in their own way. Cheers.

  • @Fullwolf346 Hm I don't know...I just upload all the BGMs I have (not done yet).

  • Okay. Just pointing something out here. In the version of the game that i have, This song is called Ever-present Feeling. Just saying, i may be wrong about that though.

  • Thought it was called "Ever-present feeling", and this song alwayys remind me of when you have to kill Saber in Heaven's Feel route, the sentence Shirou says made me cry so much "With my own hands, I killed someone who protected me until the very end. Neither a confession nor regrets will bring forgiveness" god, this VN is the best ever hands down no words can express how beautiful it is and will ever be ...

  • If they ever make a Heaven's Feel anime (maybe after Zero, lets hope for it) they should seriously include this and "This Ilussion (piano)" in it.

  • Same song used in the Last Episode of Realta Nua when Merlin is explaining everything. :D

  • Well, lets see what they have learned and wait for Fate/Zero Anime

  • listen to this with rainymood. its amazing.

  • Honestly both the movie and anime sucked.. They just didn't live up to the storyline and didn't convey the feelings (The scene where shirou is totally broken fighting archer and understands how fucked up things really are for him for example but still stays true and heads on knowing what shit will come..) well enough.. -.-

Honestly this game was the saddest game I have played.. The moment berserk died, archer fought against Shirou and Saber died in the fate part were.. geez... unforgettable ..

  • @geenius3ab studio deen sucks in general they mess up everything they touch

  • @poketradersuk 12 hours, 15 hours, 20 hours... How do you want me to know exactly, I don't have a chronometer all the time with me xD

  • @blazearmoru if you think it's easy to turn a 12 hours visual novel into a 2 hours movie with all the conversations and events, you're more intelligent than Bill Gates... This movie is mainly for fans who already know the story and if someone wants to know the discussions, he just have to read the visual novel, it's great.

  • @Milestis

12 hours? you kidding me? F/SN can last for a long time, especially for those who are slow at reading, or like to read things over so they understand, I think UBW lasts longer than 12 hours

  • @blazearmoru not at all, have you really watched the movie? it's really great, even if it's short

  • @Milestis yes, it was a disappointment. It was a very rough summary of all the events without the reasoning nor the good stuff, for example shirou and lancer's co-op chat thing. D:<

  • oh nvm, just read some of the comments :)

  • i know it's impossible to make this better but someone should try to remix this.

  • This song makes me think of Illyasviel.. she is my favorite character, one of the few that has development through the whole novel like Lancer

such a sad and beautiful music..

  • @Dark1942 oh, totally. the scene where she finds shiro sitting alone crying at the park and tries to cheer him up but got shoved instead?

  • when i listen i think of sakura more than saber for some reason =.=;;

  • whenever I close my eyes, I can see Saber running across a field of grass.. it begins snowing.. it rains, flowers bloom, the grass begins weathering away.. snow.. rain.. the process repeated. but Sabers determined expression as impressive and MAJESTIC as it will remain unchanged and suddenly I feel COMPLETELY crestfallen

  • makes me want to cry ;_;..

  • A visual novel is basically a novel but on your desktop. But in this case there is sound, and music that fits almost every scene, and also pictures to depict the scene, but in this vn, there are some... Mild scenes (H-scenes).

  • @Aleonris also, there's multiple storylines that get unlocked as you play through the game. personally, I love unlimited blade works the best. Emiya is badass.

  • I love this song

  • Now I realise why some titles that I find are in english... Ok but, can somebody explain me what exactly is a visual novel?

  • A wonderful, heartwarming song, though it reminds me much more of Shirou's final moment of sheer rage in the fight against Kotomine, Heaven's Feel route.

"Get lost...! Sakura can't be happy if you exist!"

The mood switches in F/SN are remarkable, definitely... bring your emotions to the forefront with heart-wrenching moments like Shirou's remembrance of Sakura, then have the man turn into a badass avatar of destruction.

  • T_T so sad, yet happy at the same time.

Its more a bitersweet happiness, kinda like recalling happy memories that are long gone :/

  • So sad...

  • beautiful song

  • Most memorable scene for me with this music background is Shirou thinking back as he struggled within to kill Saber. Coming to a close second would be Sakura condemning herself for killing so many people, all the bad things she did, saying how she has to die and Shirou hugging her in the rain as she thought to herself how she "broke" Shirou.

  • @SaberOtaku I AGREE!!!

  • well the anime is good, and more anime in december!

  • This makes me think of Saber's past, and it makes me want to cry.

  • @GmlnOrio94 If you want to cry at Saber's past, the rest of the game will literally blow you away. Her past, her storyline, everything about her is nothing compared to Shirou's, Illya's, Rin's, Kiritsugi's, and Sakura's. NOTHING! If you even liked the anime, look for the original. You'll LOVE it.

  • Oh, back then I had broken my laptop so had only gotten to play through most of the fate route. As for the anime, I stopped after the 6th or so episode as it paled in comparison to the game. I've finished the entire game by now, absolutely loved it, I agree with how the other plots are amazing, but I personally like Saber's story a lot as well. Or it may just be that

    -

    *SPOILER ALERT*

it's the only route with a happy ending including Ilya, perhaps my favorite character. And NO I'm not lolicon...

  • it's a bittersweet ending. thats usually the best kind.

  • @GmlnOrio94

There's no such thing as a happy end for Ilya, sad to say.

Because she's a homunculus, she will die a couple months after the end of the Grail War. Because they were made to serve as the "Grail", their life will not exceed the time of the Grail War by much.

It's a false "good" end for her.

  • Why? The anime was a terrible conversion

  • I wouldn't say TERRIBLE. Tsukihime, now THAT was a terrible conversion.

  • this song and archer arc should be in the anime.

  • hmm out of all the anime ive ever watched this is the only one that kinda messed with me. the ending i watched yesterday in english was twice as emotional than the jap ver. one of the few anime to not end with a happily ever after... im no otaku but its one of the most emotional anime you can watch. i feel better now.

  • you can read the novel, there are four more endings, and an epilogue to the first ending (only in ps2 version, though)

  • The story wasnt about conflict it was about resolution. That finally she was able to accept her fate. As her sin werent worth less and was finally albe to die in peace. A meaning that can't be described by any words only known by a few people that understand it. For death with no regrets is the most peaceful death that one can have, a feeling that finally a sense of peace has arived after a long wars and blood shed.

  • @pasword963414

I agree entirely except for one thing.

Following through with her beliefs to the end, what Saber did was neither a mistake nor a sin. It was precisely because she realized this once more at the very end that she was able to die in peace.

  • Oh god this song makes me cry every time...

  • hey is that when Sakura stabs Rin on impulse?

  • On impulse? She stabed her on rightful defense (Rin was beating her with zelretch's sword)

The song is used many times. when Shirou and Rin talk in the cementery, near the end during the final fight with Kirei (when he's thinking about Sakura) and so on...

  • @escopeteroce And when Saber gets killed in Heaven's Feel. Easily one of the saddest events in the story. Well, Heavens Feel had a lot of sad moments.

  • @I38 Yeah, and personally I didn't find Saber's death to be the saddest, when the shadow corrupted her she was already beyond any help and shirou was only able to grant her peace.

The final moments of Illya, when Sakura realizes that she has broken shirou or the normal ending were sadder to me

  • @escopeteroce Oh yeah the normal ending killed me. And despite many, I liked Sakura the most.

  • @escopeteroce Yeah for sure. Ilyas death in HF was much sadder then Sabers. Saber wasn't even important in HF route, but Ilya we got to see and learn so much about her in HF. I found her final moments to be the saddest in the VN without a doubt.

  • Isn't this song named Ever-Present Feeling ?

  • I'm assuming that they're just different translations of the same title. :)

  • yeah right!. in game it's translated Ever-Present Feeling by mirror moon

  • can someone explian teh hell why this song wasnt in the anime??

  • because the anime sucks

  • FINALLY, SOMEONE WITH TASTE.

  • You know, I sometimes wonder if they even looked over the sound track in it's entirety.

  • Hey now... I know the game is much better but I thought the anime was pretty good. Maybe their effort to involve Sakura didn't work that well but for the most part it stayed true to the Fate route. I thought it was worth it just for the Saber fight scenes.

  • @Chaos0Seraph the movie sucks more.

  • @blazearmoru Dude, the movie was good. I liked it better than the anime. But the VN still reigns over all that is Fate/Stay Night. :P

  • @Aleonris the movie was like a summery of the VN. There are not only countless plotholes, but rather it's so summarized that anyone without the prior knowledge will be completely clueless.

  • @Chaos0Seraph

Still I wouldn't mind them releasing the games with dubbed voices. I like to create MP3's of good lines and the novels have some great ones.

  • @Chaos0Seraph on a more serious note, fate/stay night is really an amazing anime. I never played the game, but the anime is one of my favorites.

  • @ShadowACS It's a miracle that you haven't played the game. If you like the anime so much it's natural to play the game.

  • @jeezy395 A miracle? Hardly. I don't have a way to download the game, and even if I did, I generally enjoy anime far more than visual novels. It's a matter of preference of format, not whether I'm a fan of it or not.

  • @ShadowACS Ok cool. Have you ever trying playing visual novels before? I never touched a visual novel before but after finishing the FSN anime I gave it a try. After I played it I realized how bad the anime was compared to the original game.

  • @jeezy395 Just because something is bad "compared to something else" doesn't make it bad in general. I loved the Fate/Stay Night anime because the characters were incredibly likable, the story and morals were perfectly intertwined, the great fight scenes, and the unbelievable soundtrack. I don't play visual novels because I don't find the concept very appealing, and I'm not going to change my mind on that just because someone tells me to.

  • @ShadowACS That is up to you, but IMO to hate on something before trying it is pretty stupid. Don't understand what you mean by the concept being not appealing.

  • @jeezy395 I'm not "hating on" anything. I'm just saying I like the anime and the fact that I haven't played the visual novel has nothing to do with that.

  • @Flameshadow1010 the anime had nothing.. one or two flashbacks jeez! the VN made me cry when I heard Sabers true wish.. the flashbacks were pretty sad.. to see somuch perseverence and dedication beyond our wildest dreams.. and then when you hear this persons wish from the grail.. you are completely overcome by dismay at their will....

THAT is a true king id gladly lay my life down for.. or atleast I hope I will

  • @Flameshadow1010 It was I think. I think we see it in one of Shirou's memory flashbacks .... or maybe I am confusing it with the VS ... ARGH, no I'm going to have to watch the whole Anime again just to prove myself right.wrong!

  • "I like you, Sakura. I've always watched you, and I wanted you to smile. ...Yeah. I wanted to believe that you had a it better the more I suffered. I was so preoccupied with that, so I didn't even have time to think about if it was painful or not."

    "I'm sorry I'm a selfish sister. ...And thanks. I'm glad you always wore that ribbon." -Tohsaka Rin ;_;

  • "And so, Rin vanishes; Sakura, who held her only sister one last time, moarns strongly."

  • such a great scene

  • ;_;

  • Its a very soothing song. ^^

  • such a beautiful song

  • Most favorite bgm from FSN VN.

  • The first time I heard this was during the fight with Saber Alter. I fought her alone and died.

This was playing when Saber said that, no matter if Rin or Sakura survive, the one who'd bring light into their lives was gone.

  • It always plays during flashbacks

  • Very nice T_T

  • The game's tearjerker song. Love it.

  • dam i died that when you hear this thats your first reaction
