Please I'm asking all jamaicans please let's work together for whichever party holds the helms.of government of our blessed island. It's ours, so let's protect it by holding each and everyone of us accountable especially for those who serve us in our island highest offices in a participatory, transparency and accountability manner. We're all the goverment of Jamaica let's work in whatever capacity we can contribute to, in a nationalistic tone and vibrancy. Mistakes are not an option
They've failed miserably to energized or inspired their base to come out and cast their votes of which the PNP were able to do so and done it in an effective and efficient manner. I do believe however, that this nation is rooted in the philosophy of democracy were our citizens have a right to expressed themselves freely in a civilised manner without breaching the laws of the constitution. The JLP have won and lost many elections in the past ,so they'll be back whenever the people choose to
The past mistakes of this now appointed government are well documented but so does the one that just exited. Just remember that the populace had invited the JLP to governance with the expectation of some form of new politics which they've failed badly because of that high expectation in one of the most narrowest victory in recent memory. Their actions then triggered one of lowest voters turn out were 48% of the electorates were disenchanted by the electoral process.
Andrew Holness is an highly intelligent and a very respected young Jamaican who I think will be stronger from this disappointment. Portia did it ! All of this is a form of experience for him, he had made some simple mistakes that I'm assure he'll learn from every single one of them and be the servant of the people the WAY WE WANT HIM TO BE . He'll be a strong opposition leader if allowed by his party. These kind of doomsday expressions are understood but we're Jamaicans let's help all of us.
The few amongst us who had taken the time out to participate in their sovereign right and they did excercise that right, the will of the few must be accepted and also respected. Let's not only observe this present administration as they go about doing the nation's business, but let's also hold them accountable to the oath they've expressed to us while at the same time ready and willing to give our support whenever summond to do so, our democratic process is alive and well. Let's be proud of that
It appears that some people's minds are left in 2011 especially on the 29th December . I can truly understand the shocked and the avalanche of emotional traumas that followed. For those who are unable to recover from that jolt must seek the time to get some professional medical aid and some well needed sabatical from our local political landscape. The election was won fair and square as far as the invited international observer are concern. Some of us just need to LET IT GO just LET IT GO.

Now that this woman won the election, Jamaica will fall deeper into misery and will continue to never be the same.
