I don't understand why you would want some strangers donation when you don't know the persons medical background, genetic makeup, psychiatric make up, etc.
It seems kind of dangerous to me. Yicks! Isn't there enough orphans to adopt? Of course you have the same problem when you adopt if you don't have access to the parents information.
@Solitaire401 I totally agree! I understand how much you would want your "own" baby, but if getting pregnant really is almost impossible, there are plenty of children in the world who are in much need of a good home.
@Solitaire401 The donors medical background and family is checked or else they can´t be a donor, so it´s safe. Having your own baby, your own flesh and blood isn´t the same as adopting! So good there are donors to help women get pregnant. Most every woman wants a baby of her own be pregnant and everything, I would never adopt.

I totally understand Mary's desire to have a baby. In my early 20s, that was all I wanted..a husband and a child. However, in my 30s, I have a new desire to take care of Ukrainian orphans. It is a blessing for women to take care of children! I just feel bad that Mary became the subject of the doctor's sick head and desires!!!
@dementedandsexcrazed I agree. To feed off of women's desires is a very sick thing for a doctor to do!!! How manipulative, hurtful and dishonest. He should have NEVER been able to practice medicine again. Remember, "first, do no harm???" Dr. J certainly didn't remember this oath!!!
LOL the donor's background and history wouldn't effect how the child turns out. it's how you raise them.
