MJ reached 25,000 pts in 200 LESS PLAYED games and 3,000 LESS shot attempts than kobe, so what's your point?
U see "youngest to" records are MEANINGLESS once U factor in HOW MANY games it took for 'em to do it.
And considering how many career shots he's MISSED, his achievements are based on VOLUME shooting/scoring. He's on pace to be the All Time leader in MISSED shots..

MJ played EXACTLY 930 games as a Chicago Bull. West played a total of 932 career games, yet MJ had scored 4,000 MORE pts than him in virtually the same # of games.
MJ scored 25,000 pts in only 782 games (2nd fastest behind Wilt) and shot 9,358-18,299 (51.1 FG%) on 8,941 missed shots at that time.
By the time kobe scored 25,000 pts, he'd already MISSED 10,000+ shots

Kobe's had a 3 yr HEAD START, and has ALREADY played MORE games & mins, which means he's NEEDED a lot MORE games just to get close to MJ!
Couple that with MJ missing virtually his entire 2nd season & his retirement in his prime, this comparison becomes an even BIGGER joke!

Kobe's place on the All Time Scorers list is an achievement of VOLUME shooting, and his HIGH # of MISSED SHOTS is PROOF of it. U can amass more totals than someone just by playing longer...ask Karl Malone.
Sorry, but he's NOT in the class of a Wilt, MJ or Big O regarding scoring.
ALL the TOP scorers in league history DOMINATED because they consistently & EFFICIENTLY scored at a HIGHER rate, not in peaks & valleys like volume scoreres, i.e. kobe, baylor, a.i. etc.

@92plana Numbers don't lie. Wade has averaged more blocks a game than Kobe every year he's been in the league. And they aren't cheap blocks either. A whole lot have been straight up face to face with Forwards and Centers. And he's 2 inches shorter than Kobe. But Kobe is a great blocking guard though, one of the best. Just not better than Wade.
