Vera's comment to Gail at 1:02 was uncalled for. "You're getting just as bad as they are". Really? All because she admitted that Lizzie and Doreen weren't threatening her Vera herself expected to be the case?
@meetthefocker2 I know. I worked in a deli and I was washing the cheese slicer one evening, I should have unplugged it but I forgot, I got a shock from it when I was moving it to clean under the slicer. Yes shocks hurt.
@Sheri451 I was lucky because I was wearing trainers at the time with rubber soles. The voltage is higher in Britain than in Amerca. We have 240 volts, which is more dangerous. That's why we don't have sockets in our bathrooms. Still, 110 volts is more than enough to kill you, so be carefull in future, especially if you have wet hands!
@Sheri451 I think it is also the way they make her up for the show because I watched a tribute the other day that was showed in 1990 for prisoner just before sheila died and I hardly recognised her. She looked much younger and spoke all posh and dignified lol!!!
@caxfingers That's the way they made up Irene Ryan from The Beverly Hillbillies too. She played Granny, and I believe Granny was supposed to be around 80. But Irene Ryan was born in 1906 and she was only 56 when BH started, I saw a video of an old game show she was on and she looked WAY younger. LIzzie is my favorite person on Prisoner, and everyone on the show LOVED her.
how come even Mrs Davidson is still calling Ellen 'Marcia' now they know her real name. i'll make a note from now on how often they slip up with that, lol!
What did we do before pamprin? Suffered with cramps. I'm glad those days are over. I used to get sick when I was a teenager, cramps throwing up I'd stay in bed with a heating pad on my legs and lower stomach. Hurt for hours and hours. WOW! Bea shocked the piss out of him.
