oh yeah. you're so right. it definitely sucks that daniel's finally better and not dying/severely depressed/addicted to meds and all that............. don't get me wrong, neon ballroom is by far my favorite silverchair album and i'll always prefer their firsts if for nothing else than the sake of sentimentality and sense memory... but i will never fault him for being in a better place in his life and wanting that reflected in his music. that's just crap. especially since it's AMAZING music.
