hey dude, i own my own xs and subscribe to you, are you using a midi filter to run some type of groove agent through the XS, whATs that grey box on the side?.... are you using quantize?.. and do you use the play fx?.. what mode are you in pattern or song?.. can you give a brother some tips on making your beats groove like they do in your vids?..

@alimoana this was all motif ..no use of midi, or groove agent, I played everything myself from scratch.. the box is a sampler and this was made in pattern mode, no extra fx, and I do quantize, but music is trial and error sometimes...keep creating until you produce something you like

@jairod88 - nice one bro. i tried it tonight. quantize main kicks and bass with ride & cymbals, dont quantize high hats, play 4/4 time and you can even play 1 bar of your hats no quantize and just loop. very cool. snare has to be non quantize to sit in your groove. i will post some sht up check it ou. west side!.. do you play guitar?, i wana see you plug in a gat through A/D and add some audio to your track, loosen things up. keep it up g!

Hey how do you export what u record on motif to cubase so u can sequence and mix? Are they exported as midi or audio n how do u do it?

you know... i havent used the export function yet, ive been recording audio track by track with my firebox audio interface into cubase...i know what you're talking about, but i havent totally figured it out yet
