  • The red sliding tab is to adjust the coarseness of the ground crystals.

  • Sea salt and table salt have pretty much the same chemical composition. However, sea salt tends to be a little less processed. Table salt often has lots of stuff added which ranges from relatively harmless to sort of good for you. Sometimes, sea salt can just taste better because it's got some trace elements left over when it's harvested via dehydration. Or so I read! Keep on opening things! You're great.

  • It's not necessarily healthier, but it tastes better because of the minerals found in the ocean. Table salt is more heavily processed, but sea salt naturally contains nutrients that are usually added in.
