Big Bird is crying the whole movie because of Snuffy and my Bert and Ernie ones simply do not exist in this film and that was what irritated me more, I do not want to see this "Special" again, without Bert and Ernie, not so special ....

True. Elmo wasn't being selfish or anything. He just loved Christmas so much, he wished it to be every day. He's like only 3 years old. He never knew any better. Nobody's Perfect.

i feel so bad for Big Bird becuase he misses and can no longer see Snuffy who is remaining in Cincinatti with his Granny and has been there for a whole year because it's Christmas everyday thanks to Elmo.
