You have done a wonderful job explaining the single crochet foundation. I have a written down technique but it is extremely confusing. Thank you for clarification!
Thanks for this excellent technique viseo. The camera angles are perfect and your explanation is so helpful. I'm on the train with a new crochet project that uses this kind of foundation row, and couldn't understand the written directions. Luckily, I found your video using my phone! I will have a productive commute after all. Thanks again!
I'm just trying this method out for the first time. I love how you explain why it's done a certain way. I'm a person that once I know why, I'll never forget how.
Thank you soooo much! I saw a tank top on Knit & Crochet today and I believe it used this technique to begin & I wanna make it but couldn't remember how to do this...bless you for sharing!
Excellent...... thank you! I'm left handed and have crocheted for over 40 years. I could never get the single crochet foundation row right by following the photos in books.
Best video on this topic yet - clear, fully explained. Many thanks.

Thank you. I think that is a great technique. I always get my base chain either to tight or too loose which throws off the shape of the fabric.

Great! The first row is what I always disliked about getting started. This is a breeze.

Thank you! I can usually work crochet stitches out by looking at graphs or pictures, but couldn't quite get this one until I watched the video!
