Very seldom, if ever, does a President's poll ratings get better following Election Day, or stay as high as they might peak over the course of 4 years.

I also don't agree with IndiMusicLover's comments about republicans because dems were doing the exact same thing while Bush was in office.

At the end of Obama's 2nd year or sooner dems will be saying the Stimulus package was successful, while republicans will say it wasn't.

Both parties need to grow up and get in touch with reality.
