The little classes are 5,500 lbs, 6,000 lbs, 6,500 lbs, and 7,000 lbs. The bigger classes are 8,500 lbs, 9,000 lbs, 9,500 lbs, and 10,000 lbs.

notice that once they get the chain tight, the wheels just spin and sink right in? everything is so friggen soft after like the 2nd tractor no matter what you use or how many times that you go over it, it will still be soft.

I know in the heavier classes they have weight hung everywhere on the tractor like 40,000 lbs. worth. I'd hate to throw all that weight.  I don't like putting on 1000 to weigh up for the next class. If thats your thing then go for it.

I am one of these tractor pullers and if anyone was wondering a full pull is 15ft. The sled weighs twice the tractor so that's why we dig holes. I know it's boring to watch however you can't knock it until you try deadweight tractor pulling. P.S. it five dollars a hock not twenty dollar like live weight.

all you guys who say this is dumb are even dumber. wid out pulling like this we wouldnt have the transfer sled pulling we have today, this tractor pulling takes a lot more skill and is a challenge to the drive, u have to pay more attention to the track and where u lay ur lines and know how to actually run ur tractor, id rather do this then transfer sled pulling and i like watching this bttr too.

@Bowtiesare4lilboys I cover 200ft in 15 seconds pulling 9000lbs with a motorcycle powered garden tractor that weighs 1400lbs. You don`t think that takes skill and knowledge of track and tractor. All you guys are doing is wasting time and burning diesel fuel.

They use to pull this style on concrete inside instead of outside on dirt in my area.

I've never seen a dead weight pull in person. Do they repair the ground and somehow pack it back down between pulls ? Looks like everyone has traction problems - the ground can't handle the torque... Great video just like all your others - thanks for editing and posting it. -Jace :)
