1) Israel was fully complicit in the massacres of Sabra and Shatila. Revenge killing for Damour is irrelevant.

2) The PLO had left Lebanon BEFORE the Sabra and Shatila massacres.

3) The Phalangists were responsible for several massacres e.g. Tal Al-Za'tar and Karantina, both of which happened before Damour. And many followed, including massacres of fellow Christians. Danny Chamoun was killed by Geagea.

You want to revise history here, but the fact is that the person who was damaged in Damour massacre was the one who led the Sabra Shatila revenge massacre, and there was one before that. These events led the PLO to finally leave Lebanon, but they were replaced by Iran-backed Hissboolah.

He was going to give FIRST-HAND testimony against Sharon and his involvement in the massacres to a Belgium court.

Yep, you guessed it. He was blown up and killed before he got anywhere near that court.

As far as your concern about Lebanon goes, Israel occupied Lebanon for more than 20 years and subjected the Lebanese population to untold suffering. So extremely inhumane was the conduct of the Israelis that they cut off water from Beirut during their 14-day siege, and then profited out of it by selling water to the population.

Your commentary on Lebanon is one sided, and so is your view of anything which Israel or Jews do; Hamas being Sunni does not mean that they will no take cash or weapons from Iran if they are offered. When Israel left Lebanon, they betrayed the Lebanese who had helped them, as well as placed Israel in jeopardy, which has already been proved by events which took place since then.

The only ones who benefitted from Israeli withdrawal from Lebanon were Islamic Jihadists eg Hisbullah.

The Israelis showed in Lebanon how far low their consciences can stoop. From Sabra and Shatila to Qana and Khiam, massacres and violations of basic human rights followed, one after another, with no respite. These continued until the popular grassroots resistance kicked you out from their land.

As for the PLO claims, they are ridiculous on many grounds. For one, the PLO left Lebanon in 1982. The Israelis left in 2000. Do the maths!
