They are federal deckstrobes with a Soundoff digital power supply. I've had the system for a while. I think it was about $900 when I purchased it years ago. LEDs are the way to go now. They last forever and use very little power.
The fog lights are factory housings with the standard bulb removed. A hideaway strobe bulb was inserted and wired to a power supply. You can contact your local public safety supply for such items.
Yep. I've had the set up in a prior police package Camaro, Impala, & Crown Vic. Fuel prices caused me to buy the diesel Jetta. It serves my purposes well to and from work and extra-jobs.
haha..that is bad ass..i have a 2006 jetta 2.5... and that is SOOOOOO illegal in the state of California...I think I am going to move to texas for the sole purpose of putting those lights on my car..haha..jk..cool Vid
I am a Police Sergeant in Texas. This is my personal car that I use for police-related side jobs, ie: traffic control, patrol, stationary security, etc.

Thanks. Never thought I'd have a VW, but I like the way it drives and I needed the good gas mileage.

Thanks for the comments. It'd be illegal in Texas too unless you are a peace officer or authorized firefighter/EMT.

Not illegal. Texas allows peace officers, volunteer firemen, EMS, and industrial response vehicles to display emergency equipment.
