How to Draw on PSE 9

quick q, the only way to get a darker color is to draw over once then take the pen off and go over it again. Any way i can make it darker by just going drawing over it again and not having to pick up and place back down my pen?

i dont get it...i can't open up the layers tab, everything is unclickable. everything is is okay, but i can't open up the layers tab.

@MAGICALRAINBOWFROG if you dont have it on your screen got to the top of the screen, where it says File, Edit, etc. and go to Window>Layers and the tab should come up on your screen.

Well, when I want to draw on an image, I want to draw it sharp, but when I click once it colours many pixels...is there anyway to change this?

Why did you put in 13 layers?

@hardrockinhere because, the 13th layer for me is my highest layer, and thats the layer i ink on. So when i color stuff in, i dont ruin the inking and i have a guide line.
