My husband made me cry.. he had me listen to this song and then showed me a concept drawing of something he wanted to make for me.. It was a Christmas ornament: The Dallas Cowboys star with the initials TP in the center, for my father.. and below it the title of this song "Save a place for me". I seriously burst into tears. It was the most thoughtful, most beautiful thing anyone has ever done. I miss my dad terribly and wish the two of them could have met. This song is beautiful.

This is so beautiful , we lost our fourth son 3 months ago. He was stillborn for no apparent reason. I carried him til five days before he was due, we buried him april 21, the day before his due date. He brings me peace from above somehow. I adore you my sweet William Matthew Temple. @bam5angels i lost twin brother to cancer. I remember the most of this song when he was here. we loved to listen to a radio station at night and fall asleep. this song would show up everytime. Then when he got sick, it stopped showing. i was glad because i was trying to keep the family supported and keep my own faith up that the 10 percent chance of survival was still easily possible with christ. it was july 19th that i heard it again at 4am thats when i heard the news. 12 years with him. gone

@1pattywack I'm sorry. I lost my first son July 8th 2009. The sting never seems to go away and without God I wouldn't be able to pull myself out of bed. God blessed me with another son a year later.. this time we made it to 36 weeks and he's healthy and a week old. I lost my first one from a incompetent cervix and horrible doctors when he was 21.6 weeks gestation. This song says it all for me.
