Like u said in one of ur numerous interviews..there are different categories of musicians.u are not the visiting or passing type but a real musician.I believe u,above all we are proud of u,both home and abroad.Obugie
I still don't understand why I can't understand most of what they are saying I was born n raised in Edo State Nigeria......just moved out of the country lol
God bless you mr joseph osayomore, i love all your music but there is one missing in you tube which i will love to listen to titled because you want to make us your slave, it is my favourite amongs all.
i am so happy that his music on the web, i just came back for benin-city. i could not find his old music do anyone have his old music, say from mid 80 to 1990
In retrospect, you're one of those who consistently worked to preserve the Edo culture through art or music. Many of us who had the opportunity to hang around with our grand parents and great grant parents understand the difference between the colloquial Edo language and the orthodox/customary Edo language. Your choice of words exemplified the customary Edo language. Bravo and God bless.
You still the man OJ. Althoug I can't understand the meaning of all the words, the voice and rhythm make my heart to beat faster as I go down memory lanes. Good song that cut across generations.
