I'm ok at drawing but I'm terrible at shading things. Any tips to kinda help me out? Going from dark to light and to know exactly where to shade is hard for me.

Any tips for trying to do the hair? I can't seem to get the 'shine effect If you get what I'm saying. I always wind up messing it up somehow and It just doesn't look like HAIR. I am trying to start doing faces of people but its starting to become a challenge I can definitely say that...
