I found AH to be rather disappointing. It was cool and fun at first but in latter missions I hate how you get swarmed while trying to attack ground targets and your AI wingman talk about covering you but actually do nothing. If you attack the ground forces, you die, and if you try to take out the planes, the friendly ground troops die.

I like the dog fighting, door gunner, and helicopter missions, the bomber is ok, but I just want to stop playing when an attacker mission comes up.

AC5's wingman command was kind of disappointing in that it seemed like it was there just to own up to the whole "squadron leader" thing. they never really did much. kinda the same with zero; they were just there for the sake of being there.

AC6 was only an exception because even though shamrock is somewhat useless (i've seen him down strigons before though) the allied support thing kinda compensates. so you're not totally doing everything yourself.

i prefer dfm, especially in online mode because in ac6 all people freaking do is choose the aircraft with uber agility/stability and choose QAAMs as their loadout then fly random ass circles and fire away until they get some lucky ass bs kill, here in ACAH with dfm you CANT do that....and people hate this game coz it take skill?! LMFAO...Playing ac6 or other ac games over the newest one is like playing COD over halo reach, you hate halo coz it takes skill, something you losers lack

@mighty212 its only because its true. The game requires more coordination and balances the planes players choose more. Now the almighty F-22A raptor can be brought down by a mere F-16 because of the DFM instead of F-22A's circling other players forever till they run out of missiles =/

Listen people! To those asking about Kei Nagase of this pic, she Is Kei Nagase from AC2 and AC3, not the one from AC5. It's confirmed from Project Aces and the "Project Nagase" they got.

@revenger210 acutally not really true she is the ACAH Kei Nagase 19th Task Force leader who jet is the ASF-X (fictional super fighter of ACAH). Can't be Kei Nagase from AC2 and AC3 because the two stories are 50 years apart from each other I highly doubt it the same Nagase in both games. This Nagase is the "Modern" Nagase who does not have any affiliations with the others except for the name.

@deckire Um, no. At least, I know that Kei Nagase from AC2 and Nagase from AC3 were the same person and it was confirmed by Proect Aces. In AC3, she has aged a bit :)

However, that Kei Nagase, as far as I'm concerned, is from the remake of AC2, AC: Cross Rumble (or AC: Assault horizon Legacy) for the 3DS.

@Sharps19 Me too. I've played the AC series ever since the first game launched... one can say I'm an "old school AC vet"... and I didn't like the new DFM. It's a good addition to the action and the visual (because it looks like a scene from a movie)... but I just can't get used to it. Maybe gamers from the new generation find it more appealing than it is to me, I'm already a master of the "hard turn, get behind the enemy, let the missiles and bullets fly" technique XD.

If it was JUST like AC5 except with DFM as an option, it would've been fan-f*cking-tastic in terms of gameplay. why does every game play or game review or game whatever of an ace combat game always revolve around a YF-22 Raptor? you guys and your overpowering planes... why not an F-16 or an F-4, or maybe even a Typhoon? do you guys not like to make these games challenging? All you get out of a raptor is upmost preformance and flight capability where as with a flying brick you challenge your skills and abilities and you even learn new flight techniques.

@ac04project yeah the story in ACAH was really dissapointing, i was expecting something better, but i went all the way through it. There are only 16 missions total so you can probably finish it if you really wanted to. Personally I like the DFM, but I dont like how they made it so that its required in many cases and made it far harder to take down planes the normal way.

This is whatI see when I listen too this song. I'm staring at clear blue skys then in the distance I see the enemy fighters in the V formation. Were right behind them, they don't detect us. We bank left and dive tword them, I get a lock, I fire my missile and yell "Fox 2!" my missile heads right at my target, he banks right but it's to late. The missile makes contact and all I see is a ball of fire and black smoke.
