  • im not trying to be mean, but i really think you should wear a helmet, especially if your doing something like that.

  • that horse is sooo gorgeous

  • hahaha that horse was so concentrated bahahah i loved the face he was making

  • Thats cool :)

  • your horse is gorg and my horse would kill me

  • My horse would be like "fu-- this lets jump over it. " xD really good! (:

  • That's great! I wish my horse would do that lol

  • Good job, you let the horse do his/her thing. You could see him/her thinking:) so cute.

  • The concentration on the horse's face was adorable!

  • HIS FACE! So darn cute! He looked really concerned. Hahah. I love your horse!

  • omg that was good my horse wouldve turned to look back at me like i was crazy

  • Only 2 things both at the rider, 1 Helmet..., 2 look at where you are going, not down, that makes your horse think he should be seeing something, like maybe something might come out from under it.

  • well done. i can see by his ears that he's really focussing and concentrating. and he trusts you. thumbs up :D

  • beautiful horse and so trusting :)

  • What a trusting horse(:

  • I love how you give him pretty much all the reigns allowing him to lower his head and take a really good look at what he's doing. Well done :D Obvious trust :)

  • good for you! he must really trust u

  • sooo amazingxx

    i wantto do thtx

  • Its really Awesome how ur horse can do that! just be carful she/he doesnt slip!

  • I'm seldomly forgetting my helmet, but I have seen quite some people get hurt because of their helmet. Maybe we should start a Pro-well-fitted-helmet-campaign instead of just a pro helmet one...

Anyway ^^ I guess this neat trick is good for those unexpected moments on a trailride where you have to cross a small piece of dirt to get anywhere and make your horse aware of how to place her feet right? Is that beam made of anything specific? ^^

  • Awww cute horse! At 0:18 she's like, "Okay! I'm done." thought about it and continued on.

  • My horse would have broken that beam, she's that big :/

  • There is a horse park??? thats cool i wanna go haha :)

  • i agree totally with solarflare67, just before reading your comment this is what i thought! i know like you say there is some calculated risk but the most this horse would have done is scratched or grazed its leg it it fell off, horses are not made out of glass and are very tough. I bet this was great fun!!

  • haha thats too cute. i love how he's going over cautiosly

  • My horse would have stopped in front of that beam and ate some grass no matter how much I fussed about getting him to move xD

Very smart and cute horse, I bet that trick helps the horse learn good balance. :)

  • Beautiful horse!!!

  • Omg that horse has THE SWEETEST FACE!!! lol whatta good girl!

  • your horse is gorgeous(:

  • Aw My pony would've been lyk naah maybe some other time and jump off :D lol

  • hehe a good balenced horsey!! i do that on my pony but along a little ridge out on a hack! xx :D

  • lol

  • when he got off he was like "oohh god!" then he said "oh ok" lol

  • epic.....my horse would of died lol

  • love how u let ur horse look and go its own speed

  • Wow. Calm horse, calm rider, and someone with brains to build an obstacle like that so sturdily! We asked someone to build a pedestal as an obstacle for our barn and gave him some plans we found on the internet and after he saw what we were going to do with it, he took the pedestal back and ultra reinforced it because he said the plans didn't have enough supports... hah. Now the thing weighs a ton, but a horse will never put a foot through it!

  • i can imagine my horse's face... everytime i take him somewhere new we stand still a bit so he can look around.. i bet he would hv looked at that and back at me like: "uve got to me kiddin me" xD

  • thats skill

  • heheheh the concentration on that horses face!!! brilliant

  • thats a talented horse.

  • Haha my pony woulda been all "HELLZZ NO WOMAN!" and spazzed xD

  • She was concentrating on the beam so much that it looks like she forget how to step down :L just think how handy this is if you even in an energency tho

  • I would so love to do that

  • what a GOOD horse :)

  • The horse is just like"I am almost to the end!almost there, almost there! Now let's check to see if I am on solid ground!"

  • Lotsa people are commenting as if horses are made of glass. Seriously, guys, the beam wasn't that high, it was plenty wide enough for the horse to walk, and there wasn't a whole lot of stuff close enough to hurt the horse should she fall off. If she fell off, she most likely would have been fine. No, there's no guarantee that she would not have been hurt, but there is a calculated risk in everything. This risk was not that high.

As for the video: Wow, neat trick and cute horse! Good job! :)

  • @SolarFlare67 there is a video of her falling off and she was fine! and shes much more careful in this, it taught her to be careful!

  • Aww that's so cute!!! Ur horse trusts u:*)

  • Your horse could break a leg doing this -_-

  • @jasminerebeccagray WHAT YOU CHATTING, horses arent made of glass. the beams wide ebough -.-

  • Wow thats awesome!

  • Sooo funny! Just watch the legs, their fragile!

  • That is awesome!!!! Great job.

  • That's a very trusting horse...mine would refuse, jump over, or get on the beam and then run backwards off of it.

  • Totally gnarly dude!

  • Cute!!

  • cool!

  • How dumb must her be -.-

  • hahaha... its funny how the horse just walked off it and didn't really care.. And he wasn't dead or bleeding or freaking out.

  • Put your horse in danger like that..what would have happened if she fell? Both of you would get hurt. Smh..

  • @kellycupcakekiller What danger was the horse in? I think its class she can get the horse to do that.Well done!

  • @briocass If the horse had fallen..

  • @kellycupcakekiller Watch the previous videos.. She worked on teaching the horse to walk across it on the ground before getting on it. The horse fell off a few times and then she learned to watch where she put her feet.

  • what would of happened if it fell off :S

  • I am soo going to build somthing like that when training the Northlandpony i ride ^^

  • nice!!

  • Cool but doesn't seem very safe

  • Holy shiz!! My horse would throw me off if I got close to it!

  • lol my horse would have been like... "yes i see the bench, no im not walking on it."

  • aww thats so cool! look how focused you have her! (her, right? lol sorry)

  • Great Job, I know a lot of people don't think that you are being safe but your only a foot of the ground!! This will also come in handy while trail riding in the mtns. some of the trails are very narrow and one side is mtn and the other is a drop off. I think that you did great!!

  • what breed is ur horse

  • so safe..........

  • I could do this easily.

  • @OnlyOneHorse on ur horse? cuz I could run on it but my horse wouldnt touch it...

  • 0:17 - the horse is like "oh! theres a drop there!"

  • Beautifully maneuvered!

  • The concentration on her face is unreal. :')

  • Beautiful horse. Good job at training him to walk on that. Only negative - Where's your helmet? I am totally PRO-helmet, and I hate to see riders taking their health/lives in their hands by not wearing one. Even with the most well trained. docile horse, anything can happen.

  • @MissMerMer1980 It's the norm for western riders to ride without a helmet. In any case, whatever discipline you are, people know the risk. It's their choice.

  • I don't think the balance beam part is dangerous..If humans do flips on it, I think its okay if a horse walks across it.. my problem is that there is gravel...if the horse was to fall, the landing could impale him...please be careful

Cute horse! he looks like a horse at my barn, Justin

    Deannaxxoo ♥

  • OMG! The best video I've ever seen?! How did you do that?! :OO

  • Wow, that is really good, that the horse is really doing that. It really is very good, but still I think it is a bit dangourous, I mean, even the best horse can be bad :P They still are horses, animals, who can scare and run.

But really if you train this, if your horse can do this, really brillijant!!

  • COOL! sweet and good horse!

  • aww, such a cute horse :')

  • That's so cool!

  • I'm actually really impressed.

  • Horse "What is life"

  • now THATS what i call TEAMWORK :D

  • I think you just created a new sport

  • oh gosh I have to find my mouth wait its somewhere on the floor

  • Wow Great!

  • that horse is a legend!

  • JK

  • omg this is sooo dangerous.... gosh someone better call the police....cause we gotta daredevil on the loose.l...

  • my horse would have been like " oh hellll no!" and jumped off the side haha :)

  • That is so sweet! Your horse must really trust you! :) LOVE IT! x

  • i actually think this is rather sweet. You can see the trust on the horse's face, ad knows he/she can do it.

@onewishTB = equestrian riding in general is classed as a dangerous sport so your comment is invalid anyway.

  • wow your horse must really have trust in you.

but you should wear some sort of protection on your head even if you are a pro.

  • Don't you think you should wear a helmet?

  • That's amazing! Well done!

  • ninja

  • Fantastic

  • You're horse must trust you a lot to do that with you, I'd hate to see what would happen if it fell off. A hat would have been a good idea.

  • Wow! That was great!

  • wow! thats so cool

  • I think that's good exercise for horses. They put the full energy to keep their balance and "survive" from that difficult thing, at least better than just walking around the yard.

  • aww he is very brave my pony would buck me off if i asked her to do that

  • Aww what a gud horse!

  • naaw :3

  • See more videos of Sara under the account, knstaub. She is a good girl, and we have spent a lot of time working on this trail stuff. I want her to be a confident and sure footed girl, and she loves to come out and play in this "playground". When we started showing, she would baulk going in the arena alone, but after doing this trail work she is much better! PS, the beam is less than a foot off the ground, its not very high at all. Thanks for all the comments!

  • Woooo that was brilliant!

  • What a good boy :)

  • wow good pony!

  • WOAH!!! i dident even know that was posible!!!!

  • soooooooooooooooo cool.... :)

  • wow this is soo safe

  • @onewishTB Your sarcastic comment is lame. Firstly, she obviously has built up a good bond with her horse. Secondly, she was letting the horse lower his head and clearly see where he was going. Horses aren't dumb you know, in the wild they didn't just stick to the wide open flat areas.

  • @PoNyStArZaNgEl lol..

  • @onewishTB wow u had to say something, let the girl be its not like ur horse could do that

  • @onewishTB At least HER horse can do it ;D

  • thats good as :D but for your own saftey please wear a helmet!!

  • good for you! you just let the horse do its job and figure out where to place its feet instead of you interfering and trying to help "help". My horse would never do something like this :P

  • omg this is awesome

  • lol
