He's not gay- if you read his biography, it seems Mr. Stewart prefers the company of much younger women ;-) He used the word "partner" in this interview, but I think he was talking about his g/f...from what I have read, he was private about this particular relationship b/c of the huge age difference.

I'm not saying Patrick Stewart is gay, but Sir Ian McKellen has grown up kids too, and hes openly gay, so you never know.
