@hassonater they just give you more leverage to pull your body back when doing backflip bar tricks, your forarms hit these bars and you can use elbows as your leverage to bring your body back to the sled or bike, which in a flip trick is rotating away from you,just makes it easier than using only the bars and your wrists.

I'm not a snowmobile rider at all so go easy on me with this question: Why do these sleds still use a thumb-throttle instead of a twist like in motocross (I'm a motocross-er myself)? My only guess to this is because it's wider and longer than a dirt bike, so accidental throttle twists might be the main issue.

Any ideas/reasons? Does seem easier to do a backflip with a thumb-throttle.

Steering forces are much higher than on a motorbike (you need both arms), thus a twist-throttle would make precise control difficult.

@borninusa98 plug your camera into your computer, find the camera should be under "my computer" go to folder name "dcim" and then right click and delete the videos you don't want. you can do it from the camera but thats a pain.
