After awhile, she started cutting and thought that was okay because she wasn't throwing up. she was cutting to stop purging. She had an eating disorder since she was a kid. People used to make fun of her and call her fat. She used to make herself vomit blood. After awhile, she started cutting and thought that was okay because she wasn't throwing up. She didn't find out she was bipolar until her friends and family held an intervention and sent her to rehab. I think she wore black a lot because it's sliming and she thought she was fat.

People need to realise that there is a difference between a emo and a cutter. You can be both, or just one. Because you're an emo (wearing dark clothes etc) doesn't mean that you cut yourself. I do believe that Demi was the stereotypical emo, and a cutter, and my thoughts do go out to her. The title of the video, suggests that her scars are what make her emo. This is false.
