  • Just for you people who don't know, that's an actor. It's my father.

  • his grandchildren should do an ipad commercial!

  • Lol @ 0:18 or 0:19 - Looks like paint from Windows. Bump.

  • .....yeah because windows copy macintosh

  • I hate Windows!

  • @ColdingoVich No it's MacPaint.

  • @WOWNumansi No, it's photoshop. Toolbars are a perfect match.

Not actually much point on a black and white computer though.

  • true american

  • this guy is probably dead by now.

    rest in peace.

  • ya even though nothing he said is probable true thats sad

  • @deathworm123 yes it is, he is really a 23 year old woman

  • @deathworm123 I think it is true but very sad. I 2009 macbook pro and soon getting the new imac and just upgrading my macbook pro to the new lion software. Do you use mac? if so what do you recommend? Thx in advance and be sure to check out my videos and tell me what you think.

  • @BRIANbummers well i wrote that comment 2 years ago but anyways what you need depends on what you do and you budget. For example if all you do is go an the internet they just get a low end mac but if you do something like serious video editing then you would want to upgrade an imac as high as you budget will allow. Sorry i couldn't give you a more strait forward answer but thats how it is when someone is computer shopping.

  • @deathworm123 Thx for your help.

  • @discoverist Thats fucked up. We all know it, but YOU said it. LOL!!!!

  • now i don't know an exact year but i can say that color has been in some macintosh computers since the mid 1980's

  • @harmelion i think the original apple ii could display color (1977)

  • Well, Apple had color display computers in the 80s, one of the first ones was the Apple IIGS.

  • I hate to say it, but an old man writing his memoires in a chair doesn't sell laptops or build a outstanding brand.

  • what's on my powerbook? porn.

  • lol...

  • Collect as much porn as you want for your grandchildren to use it.

  • @adryanv Don't think you'll have any need for porn if your a grandfather.

  • "im putting it all down where my grandchildren could use it" does he mean the computer? hahahahaha...i would be pissed! thats nothing today

  • Heh, that still will be a collectors item but I think he means his memoirs not his laptop.

  • good point

  • So touching! *sheds tear*

  • This ad wasn't appealing to features or technology, it was appealing to emotion. This ad is trying to do something very different than bark out a list of features and specs. You would not likely ever see a Dell ad like that. Imagine if this ad had ended with some chipper voice shouting "Save $399 on a new PowerBook with the Motorola 68040 processor when you..."

  • good point

  • Problem with this ad is, how did it differentiate them from the competition? Can't you do the same things with a PC? Contrast this with the current "I'm a Mac" ads, which do differentiate Macs from the others.

  • well, read jack harvey's comment. ur answer is there.
