Quality Counts 2008: Teacher Pay

Please explain....If you bring up the "9 months "only" working"...than find someting else. My only hypothetical argument is this...."if we paid teachers 100K each per year, would more qualified people decide to become teachers?? I think so. So why complain about people making 40K per year if they are not the best amongst us? Let's make this a desireble job to get the best people wanting to do this...instead of "just the rest of us."
