Happy to meet your acquaintance sir! :o)

  • Lynch with a cow was way smoother

  • that is david cross at the end, next to the 'Fisher King' guy

  • I love this man.

  • kool4ever says 'Terry Gilliam is a fuckin' murderer'. And he also says Kurt Cobain was murdered etc., etc.

    What a fuckin worthless creep!

  • murderer?

  • hahaha, the guy at the end ("Fisher King is my favorite movie of all time") is an idiot!

  • I agree 100% with you, eeeh why is he an idiot? because he supports good independent film makers or becuase the person uploading cut the video?

  • you ass

  • oh that's right. sorry I was wrong jaja. What do u mean "you ass"???

  • Terry Gilliam is brilliant. It's a shame he's been reduced to these kinds of tactics.

  • yeah...I know, but at times like this it's best for a genius w/ honest ambitions to promote films outside the hollywood corporate market cringe. Mr. Gilliam is an honest indie filmmaker. If he survived his discord w/ those bad execs from releasing Brazil, then he'll definitely suceed.

  • I have that poster/sign that Terry is holding - I got it later that day at the IFC Center screening. Terry gave it out at the screening by asking how he was going to give it away - I screamed out from my seat - "The first one that runs to the stage!" He replied "What?" I repeated myself and ran to the stage and nabbed the sign. His response was "Carpe Diem!" It made my day. I found out later from his daughter that he hand wrote the sign himself.

    :)

  • well played!

  • Very interesting

  • awesome!

    well lucky. ha :)

  • Ace!! 8)

  • I met him that morning at IFC. He was asking me if it would be a great idea to crash the daily show line. HE showed me the sign first, flipped it (to show the poster) and said : It means the same thing.

He also said that he would make Don Quixote if he has Depp, but sadly Jean Rochefort can't come back.

  • he is thinking of using mike palin as Quixote

  • What is that little bit of hair hanging down the back supposed to be? is it a statement of something?

  • It's a rat tail, of early 90s fame.

  • yeah , it's a rat-tail...but so what? what is it FOR actually?

  • Did anyone else notice Freddie Mercury driving the horse?

  • Hahaha! that's funny!

  • Hah! :-))) I thought the same

  • i love terry gilliam. pure, unadulterated genius.

hollywood has nothing on him. when i was 8 i used to rent time bandits over and over again before i knew who t.g. was. i am 28 now and am still just as blown away as ever before. CHEERS to Terry!

  • Gilliam is the Man!

  • Terry Gilliam is brilliant!

  • Oh my god I read it and I didn't do it. I am going to not have a crush for 5 years. Thats really bad. Dickhead, why don't you get a life.

  • Brazil is so over the top.

Heard Brothers Grimm was just to have some money to produce some art again...

  • TG Rocks!

  • So down to earth

  • Great move. Didn't they haul his ass onto the show because of it? They should have.

  • This guy is brilliant. I have been saying for the longest time "its like we are in the movie Brazil!" Great stuff. I hope he tries once again to complete his Don Quixote film.

  • respect to this genius

  • TG is a very cool guy, and he makes "interesting" films. May he continue to do so.

  • that rat tail, ugh.

  • seems like a nice fellow

  • The hustling and bustling for attention never ceases for independent filmmakers. Keep it up, Terry!

  • I'd rather see a Gilliam film that The Daily Show, and I really like The Daily Show. It's just Gilliam is much more interesting, and I get tired of politics very quickly...

  • terrys a legend

  • who?

  • I saw Tideland, it was excellent.

  • Can you make it out to Malice? M - A - L - A - C - E...

    lol

  • Try again there Mr. B. Spellings.
