Naturopaths can be licensed, medication-prescribing doctors just as soon as they get into a proper medical school, graduate, pass the boards, etc. Just like everyone else.
Funny how we don't challenge the expertise earned by pilots, astronauts, civil engineers, etc. but the same expertise earned by a medical doctor is suspect. Wanna hear my "alternative," "natural" method of flying a plane? Perhaps I can be licensed as an "alternative" astronaut and get on the International Space Station?
