Had I not heard Jan target the elderly, you would not hear from me about TBN. Again, If Jan told you to send in your grocery money would you do it? Luring people to Christ to get rich is both deceitful and deadly. It's deceitful because when Jesus himself called us, he said things like:
"Any one of you who does not renounce all that he has cannot be my disciple" (Luke 14:33).

But Paul objects to this in 1Tim6:5 Paul calls them "Men of corrupt mind, who have been robbed of the truth and who THINK THAT GODLINESS IS A MEANS TO FINANCIAL GAIN."

Long teaches Word-faith theology. This theology teaches that God is a tool to accomplish the believers desires.

Long preaches a message that contradicts many teachings in Scripture.

Most churches nowadays are keeping many people in the dark to what they have the right to. We are here to have a "Heavenly" experience. I desire Yahusha/Jesus/God/YHWH--as a Saint, with all my heart, soul, mind. My day is consumed by Christ-- over 90percent of my thoughts are about Jesus--all day every day. I study the word, and I stay in it. GOD LOVES US AND WANTS US TO PROSPER...just not to forget about him. Unless you "unlock" your true inner potential--you will never get what's yours.

Becoming rich from 1 Kingdom (the world's), makes it hard to ENTER GOD'S KINGDOM....because it's "hard to teach an old dog new tricks". interesting thing about "prosperty teaching" is not none of JESUS' teachings were about "prosperity" when he talked about blessings it was never from a financial aspect. In fact, if you read the bible you will find Jesus taught on giving to others rather than solicting for yourselves.

There are reasons why many people are put up to a position like that. If you look in the BIBLE...there are many great LEADERS who led many people out of the darkness; such as Abraham, Moses, Jesus(of course)
and there is a good reason...maybe because of their faith, maybe because of their heart--maybe just because God chooses those people who are good "examples". Now I know one this is for sure..my Pastor, Ron Carpenter, Myles Munroe--all sown a seed when they had nothing...not many'll DO THAT
