OK, someone please tell me WHY the developers completely ignored God Hand and Devil May Cry for characters? Instead, they brought in characters from games such as Dead Rising and Lost Planet?

I mean, c'mon those characters are shit for a fighting game. They don't really fit. No offence to those who prefer those characters . . . but c'mon, if they have Soki, why not Dante or Gene?

Dante and Mifune (Speed Racer) have no chance at all in TvC. Dante would be overwhelminly cheap, he's like a combination of Frank West and Karas. And Mifune is not a fighter, there was never a time Midune fought. But Hakushon Daimo did appear in TvC...

Two things wrong with that.

1.Yeah, they would be tied, because they're BOTH MASCOTS OF CAPCOM.

and 2.How is that a problem? In Capcom's other vs fighting games, Street Fighter always had more characters that were ALMOST EXACTLY THE SAME and kicked out any unique other franchises' characters. But here, it'd be more beneficial to use unique characters, such as Batsu(who hasn't been represented much, and FRANK WEST.

i know about marvel vs capcom but that game is pretty old and dead rising a MUCH smaller title for capcom than resident evil so anyone from resident evil would have been a MUCH better inclusion
