grciagdess, if I remember correctly, they say it is okay to eat pork because if you cook it properly, the virus will die. Swine flu probably would have not happened had there been good health and safety standards for that pig pen in Mexico where that young boy got infected. Personally, I think that health and safety standards should be the law, because if it is the law, then private companies have to abide by it. Leaving health and safety standards up to individual business policy is gross.
