I tend to use my iPod Touch 32GB or iPad2 32GB or my MacBook Pro to get my apps or tunes. They all get linked in the end. I like iCloud. But you are right the App Store or the iTunes prog on a PC works too.
The iPad3 launches very soon, with a quad processor . My iPad 2 will be up for sale soon I guess :)
