  • woah. wat if the yellow side looks like a T

  • i use F U R Ui Ri Fi ....to form the cross if you have inverted L ...this works all the time.

  • show me one in the middle only

  • Finally done it, got confused on the last step but realised i was inverting it wrong:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

  • I used to be able to solve the cube in under 60 seconds as a 13 year old. 30 years later, I can only remember how to solve the top layer. Your videos are awesome! I can solve it again and can now move on to teach my 10 year old son! Thanks!

  • I screwed up at the part where you were making the middle rows right and had to start all over again :(

  • thanks! i now have 2 layers solved, hopefully the third layer works also!

  • I want to thanks you for making sense of the Rubik Cube. At first I was baffled and even wanted to give up. But now with the help of your video I understand the moves and techniques. Thanks again!

  • thx this is awesome cool kid you got have a great day :)

  • half the people that watched part one watched this. Therefore, that proves either: 50% of people are INCAPABLE of actually doing it... or 50% of people just wanted to know how to solve one side (aka the failures) :P

  • Besides my solution to remove and reapply the colored stickers, you could also use paint to change the colors. This does take longer because you need to let the paint dry. No matter how you solve it, you should apply a couple of coats of marine spar varnish over the whole thing once it's solved to keep it from getting messed up again.

    Thanks for posting, though.

  • Thanks dad!!!

  • I got a cube today to see if I could solve it with your tutorial.

Those algorithm steps seem fast. >_< I guess I should learn the moves before doing the algorithms, but I don't know how to memorize them. I did find something useful for doing the second row, though. Right before trying it, if I say to myself to turn the face and the bottom both the same direction (either left or right), then it's easier to do without me getting confused. But I haven't found an easy way to remember the other yet.

  • Love the music. Haha. Doo doo doo do doo doo doo.

  • These parts confuse me... the algorithms would be okay with me if I knew why they worked, but not knowing why bothers me a little.

  • i hVW SOLVE MY RUBIKS CUBE 2 TIME AND IT WAS TODAY WHEN I WATCH THIS VIDEO THANKS MAN

  • Thank U !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-)

  • I can get the edge peace in 8 moves not 10!!!

  • best tautorial on youtube, tnx man!!!!!

  • i can't get the Yellow cross. Its always one piece thats the wrong way when i try to get the cross. i don't know how i can get it the same way as the others..

  • @Eniiilorak Your cube is probably in an unsolvable state (someone put a piece in the wrong way). Take apart the cube and assemble it completely solved. Mix it up and try again...I'm certain that it will work afterwards....cheers

  • yes!! i've solved my first rubik's cube ,D

  • Thank you so much it really helped =]

  • just put a wrong edge piece in its place and it will move back to the top layer and place normally....merry x-mas

  • @pixelguy I don't understand. Can you post a video up?

  • Your tutorial is the best, full stop.

  • amazing explanation.. better than all tutorials in the web.

    thanx a lot

  • This is so easy !!! Thankyou so much!!!!!!

  • thanks a lot man

  • very well explained !

  • Thanks Mann! Nice Job!

  • Woh! Weirdness! I get the second layer a total different way! I wonder if this is faster....probably the same.

  • Superb explanation and demonstration, It has taken me two days (not all day!!!)to get from novice siding to solving in under 10 minutes purely from memory. Best on youtube, many thanks David.

  • thanks well explained

  • ive done the algo about ten times and still dont get the yellow cross????

  • nope tha yellow cross isnt going in and the rest of the cube just mixes up again

  • the yellow cross is a very easy step. I don't know what to say....Is it possible you took your cube apart and didn't put it back together correctly?

  • nope iv never taking my cube apart

  • That last cross aint working for me n i keep messing up and having to start again

  • yeah i got stuck a few times and didnt know what to do, but yeah your rite on the reply, just repeat the algo a few times and the same with pushing 1 down ,keep repeating and it should come up... it did to me :D thanks for the vidio

  • what am i supposed to do if on the 3rd step not all of the cubes that i need to move are on the bottom?!?!?!?

  • You have to 'push' one of them down. If you think about it the move just 'swaps' the bottom edge with the side edge. So if you need to move one of the side edge down then just move any edge (even with yellow) into that slot and repeat.

    Hope that helps.

  • you didnt show the one for the one in the middle and it didnt work for me

  • you just have to do the algo. that you'd do if you had the line....and repeat.

  • hey ur good tnx a lot! u r ah great teacher!! ^_^ can i have ur original rubics? hehe
