hmm i have make a quarry but i just found coal... -.- but i havent come down so far

am i lucky i got 2 64 packets of coal left from a coal vein 5 64 packets of torches 50 torches on my hotbar 2 steel pickaxes 1 steel ax a good mountain shelter and on the summit is perfect amount of trees but after that i found out that approximatly 50 blocks below the mountain in the bedrock layer ther is a dungeo i know because of mine edit

i have two 10x10 quarry's, i have stairs going along the walls so i just walk down if i want to get to the bottom, i also have on one of my mines once i hit an edge and need to turn id throw a double chest, crafting bench and furnace for all my needs, to prevent needing to do this again on my second quarry i made small walk ways connection both the mines so each of the chests has most of the stone and dirt i mined and this helps dig quicker, let me know if i should port on youtube please

easy way to get rid of excess with out lava

1. dig a hole as far as you can with out getting in the hole.

2. throw all stuff you don't want in hole

3. cover top most part with rock/cobble ston.

done

i personally find stairs along the walls being most practical in quarrys. if a precious material is in he way, you can always just replace it with dirt or cobblestone.

Pressing Q only throws away 1 item of a stack that you're holding. You can just drop the entire stack at once if you drag it from your inventory out into the other screen.

hey to get rid of your dirt and stuff you don't want faster make a incenerator, make a hole fill it wiht lava and throw your stuff in it it burns and you don't pick it back up! and to throw faster while in your inventory pick up the bundle of 64 dirt or wutever and click it out of the inventory HUD thing

@HypnotoadProductions watch out with lava it sparks out and those sparks and light things on fire i sugest making one that like a mini lava waterfall coz then it dosnt spark

i made an entire island a quarry, its something like 1375X3580 blocks.....im still leveling out the hills

@novantha1 So you're telling me you have a quarry with a volume of 4.922.500 Blocks per Level? That'd take 2461250 seconds if you destroy 2 blocks every second (28,46 days non stop playing) to get rid of one layer of that Quarry...I hardly believe that or it's edited with MineEdit

You can drop all 64 pieces of a specific item by just opening the inventory, the click on the item, then clikc outside of the inventory :P

@SongSubscribers A quarry is a type of open-pit mine from which rock or minerals are extracted and you make one by just getting a dimension (for example 10x10) making an outline and then dig out ALL the blocks in there instead of making a simple shaft.

@SongSubscribers you would be better off making it out of sight not RIGHT on your base like hypotoad and try and finding an area thats mostly rock to start on that way you dont have to deal with all the dirt
