Just because he does the some of the same tricks as Rodney Mullen does not mean he is a wanna be. If you are going to look at it like that, think about this, Rodney Mullen invented the kickflip (then called the "Magic Flip"). So does that mean everyone who can kickflip is a rodney mullen wanna be too?
