  • her jumping is part of the choreography

  • She shouldn't be jumping. That means she's losing her balance

  • @NellyTubbie yes, cinderella932 is right. jumping during the fouettes is part of the coreography in the "flames of paris" and in "etudes.". I haven't seen them in any other ballet, but it's supposed to be something different to most other classical peices like swan lake or the sleeping beauty. It also depends on the character the dancer is playing. it's all part of the choreographer's, the artistic director's and the dacer's interpretation of the personality of her character :)

  • @EvanescenceROCKSS Oh now I see. Alright thank you for clearing that up. I do russian ballet so my teacher is quite against the jumping during fouettes.

  • @NellyTubbie yeah i understand about the teachers and different ballet style things, my ballet teacher thinks it should be ILLEGAL to do an attitude on a bent leg, sich as in giselle's first act variation. regardless i still do them when im dancing around my living room, lol >.<

  • @EvanescenceROCKSS haha I do that too! Yeah teachers are different.

  • @NellyTubbie defo ;)

  • why on earth is she jumping!!!

  • no me gustan los fouttes rusos pero aún así impresionante¡¡¡
