  • wats the point in using a supressor if u still use ear protection

  • @airgunhunting77 Do you not see the guys 10ft away reloading their non-suppressed guns?

  • Not much of a suppressor.... Esp considering sub sonic .45

  • Suppressed .45 is the king of the pistol world imo. You just can't beat that!

  • I noticed that there is a sonic boom, I guess you were using supersonic 185 grainers?

  • @pigoutultra No sonic boom, these are 230gr. You are hearing the bullets hitting the plates - he is shooting a plate rack.

  • thats cool

  • @cjswsn Genius: do you not see the guys 15ft in the background reloading their unsuppressed AR-15s?

  • @cjswsn hey idiot, did it ever occur to you that there are others shooting at the range unsurpressed?

  • sounds like a drum being pounded on :p

  • @yellowniggabart123 that's what she said

  • "Beautifull Glock" =))

  • if you keep pressing 1 he shoots fast.

  • @yummygummybear17 Turn that from a handgun to a machine pistol.

  • I'm looking for a threaded barrel for my 1911. Does anyone have any recommendations. If so, why?

  • @zackybaby1237 No, they are legal in about 40 states. Just takes some red tape, but anyone 21+ with a clean criminal record can own a silencer if they live in one of those states.

  • @paintballplayer700 I always love when people try to say SUPPRESSORS(NOT SILENCERS<---MOVIE TERM) are illegal just like full auto weapons.. For people Who don't know they are called class 3 weapons here in NC

  • @jerry015 lol ya i know a lot of pro's tend to call it a silencer but for me its like when people call mags a clip . But to each his own =). In when they started using them in Vietnam they called them hush puppies because they used them to hush the dogs.

  • @jerry015 illegal in california just like everything else though

  • @zackybaby1237 there you go another democrotsy talking out their ass about something they know nothing about. go learn the facts before you put your dick in your mouth again you fucking retard

  • All I have to say about that is WOW.

I own a Gemtech 9mm MK2 Suppressor for my Beretta, and all I did was send in a filled out paper with crodetials and history. 1 month later, I owned my Gemtech.

  • how much for that barrel?

  • @flyhighkev About $250.

  • @paintballplayer700 for a threaded barrel?

  • @iiNeVeRShOOt Yes.

  • Did the EFK barrel help/make worse ur accuracy? Did yours come with a thread protector?

  • @Chromiumblue It didn't change the accuracy, it was a very accurate pistol with both the stock barrel and the EFK barrel/bushing. It did come with a thread protector, though I think you can order one without.

  • @paintballplayer700 Will this threaded barrel fit on a Colt 1911 XSE Series?

  • we should just call it a supprilencer so you whiny bitches will shut up

  • gotta luv 1911

  • well i can hear it shooting, so its not "silenced" to each his own

  • @Backer07

... run along and go play your video games.

  • @Samurai8989 First of all... i dont play dumb ass video games, second please get on any website of a buisness that makes suppressors and they will talk about the suppressors that they sell, not "silencers" because it does not silence the gun it suppresses it....... Samurai lol

  • @Backer07

Personally, I use the term suppressor as well. I have shot and operated numerous Class III weapons and silencers for both handguns and rifles. The terms silencers and suppressors are used interchangeably by those in the industry and people who insist on one or the other are generally just trying to be pretentious. In regard to "websites" that use both terms synonymously go to:

    -Advanced Armament

    -SilencerCo

    -Gemtech

-AWC (military contract. Motto includes the term "silencer".)

  • @Backer07 Well the weapon also still fires a bullet, so it isn't "suppressed". If you want to be a douche and be so literal.

  • @TomoeNageX Because something is suppressed doesn't mean it doesn't shoot bullets. Think about what you just said.

  • @Backer07 The term Suppress means to prevent from performing an action. You said that the device doesn't 'silence' the weapon, and I said it doesn't 'suppress' it either. Even by adding 'Sound' to suppressor, it still doesn't suppress sound, it merely muffles it. If you want to be literal, might as well call it a muffler, funnily enough, the word for muffler used by the English is Silencer.

  • @TomoeNageX your right it does mean to prevent performing an action. That action would be hot gas coming out of the barrel. I prevents hot gas from "exploding" out of the barrel. Instead it comes out at a slower speed, also "suppressing" the muzzle flash.

  • @TomoeNageX A suppressor, sound suppressor or sound moderator is a device attached to or part of the barrel of a firearm to reduce the amount of noise and flash generated by firing the weapon.

It generally takes the form of a cylindrically shaped metal tube with various internal mechanisms to reduce the sound of firing by slowing the escaping propellant gas and sometimes by reducing the velocity of the bullet.

  • Old Snake has an Operator

  • its a suppressor not a silencer, next time dont use ear protection a suppressed 45 is realy pretty quite plus its funner

  • @ecollins92 The terms are equal. The inventor called them silencers, and the government forms that allow me to own them refer to them as silencers. We were wearing ear protection because there were other people shooting non-suppressed weapons right next to us.

  • @paintballplayer700 yea very true about the range, and dont care about all tht stuff i will always call it a suppressor and recruit other people to call it a suppressor

  • @ecollins92 Do what you want, just know that people who actually manufacture or own the things will roll their eyes at you if you pull that "It's not a silencer, it's a suppressor" stuff.

  • @paintballplayer700 bullshit, my dad has a suppressed mac10 and he also helped design one of the first 50 caliber suppressors tht u could shoot without ear protection and has had training at various places including blackwater he knows his shit, ive used suppressors and been around many people who own suppressors and actually they will roll their eyes at you if you call it a silencer, so yea

  • @ecollins92 I have also designed multiple suppressors, own multiple suppressors, and speak regularly with employees of at least 4 major suppressor manufacturers. I would bet my entire paycheck that I know WAY more industry people than you and none of them give a shit whether someone says suppressor or silencer. Go to the websites for Advanced Armament, Gemtech, AWC... ALL of them refer to their products as silencers and suppressors interchangeably.

  • @paintballplayer700 ok fair enough but im going to keep calling them suppressors because thts how i was tought and thts what i know

  • @paintballplayer700 I still don't get why people fight over how its said

its like Audi(out-e) or Audi (aw-dee)

    Same thing.lol

  • @paintballplayer700 As I know it.. Silencer is just what people say.. Suppressor is the "Right" term as it does not silence the weapon it suppresses the sound. but there is no difference between silencer and suppressor.. they are the same thing. it's what ever you prefer.

  • @paintballplayer700 it's a suppressor. there's no such thing as a silencer. i could take a shit, try to sell it and market it as a gold bar... but it's still shit no matter what you, I or anybody else calls it.

  • @ecollins92

So yeah, MY father designed the gatling gunzorsss, you know wut im sayin'?

so you bullshit about blabla gun silenpressors and suprencer. So stop talk smack talk... because I invented the m16 with sound reducerszzz.

Really, you sound like a douchebag. And your father? He must be kicked in his balls for giving sperm to a whore who pooped a retarded kid like you in 9 months. Just my 2 cents.

  • @axisrules1 really dude your gonna talk shit on youtube nuthing in tht convo was ment for you, so go fuck your self and do something other than read all the comments on this video, you didnt even say any thing in tht comment tht had any thing to do with what i said, your just trien to look like a hard ass on youtube, which is pretty damn sad,

also i wasnt talken shit every thing i said is true, ive seen papers and books with him in it, ive got proof, and im not a kid

  • @ecollins92 most 45 suppressors will make it really quiet because the heavy 45 bullet moves at sub-sonic speeds making it very quiet that is why special forces will use suppressed 45's and not suppressed m9's.

  • @bassmastah13 not all 45 rounds are sub-sonic, and some of them do use 9mm, its pretty much personal preference, and if anything they use 45's because once hit with one thiers not much hope for you

  • @ecollins92 All the guys in 1st Group and 2nd Ranger BN I know only carry M9s, and I have never seen anyone carrying a .45 in Iraq or Afghanistan other than contractors...

  • @tsands479 yea thats because your issued a 9 mike mike

  • @ecollins92 I roll my eyes when you say Mac-10 it's called an M-10, "so yeah"

  • @TomoeNageX i hope that was sarcasm, because i dont know what fantasy land your living in, oh wait yes i do its call of duty, well guess what their not called m10s its called a mac 10, an m10 is a tank from ww2

  • @ecollins92 Nice try smartass, but in Call of Duty it is called the Mac 10, or rather the Mac 11, since only that model has appeared in the series, in any case "The term "MAC-10" is commonly used, but unofficial parlance. However, the MAC company never used the nomenclature MAC-10 on any of its catalogs or sales literature—only "M10", but because "MAC-10" became so frequently used by Title II dealers, gun writers, and collectors, it is now used more frequently than "M10" to identify the guns."

  • @TomoeNageX ive not once in my whole life been heard it called an m10, but i geuss i should listen to the cod freak who knows how to use google

  • @ecollins92 Because your whole life is such a long time, judging by the 92 we're the same age buddy, stop acting like you're all big. Sure I like Call of Duty, but that's not where I get my information from, I actually watch documentaries and read shit, it's not hard. And I sure as hell don't go all "ZOMG N0 UR WRONG ABOT UR ONW GUN IT'S AN M16 ACOG AND ONLY SH00TZ BURSTZ HEADSH0TZ N00B".

  • @TomoeNageX i not one those loves call of duty so i do a shit load of research and try and act like i know everything about guns kinda guys, ive been around a shit load of guns the majority of my life, i may only be 18 but all most all my knowledge comes from experience, not your crazy super research know it all shit.

have you ever even shot a real gun

  • @ecollins92 Yes, but not too many times, because my fuckin' hippie parents are afraid of guns. I like Call of Duty because altough mostly unrealistic and inaccurate, it's the game that looks the most realistic. My uncle is a gun collector and I've fired many of them, and help him clean a few, but like I said, my parents are all "guns are bad" and shit. (Though it's probably mostly my mother, and my dad just goes along with it to keep her happy)

  • @ecollins92 Not if your at a Range with other weapons.. lol.. Just a thought

  • @GreenMan82 hahaha very good point

  • do suppressors degrage

  • @cheezyweezz

Degrade? Yeah they do. They're only good for however many rounds.

  • That's only sort of true. Yeah, I mean, I guess they eventually wear out, but a modern pistol silencer should be good for 20,000+ rounds.

  • how many inch is the suppressor his using in the video?

  • Approx 8 inches.

  • its not a hush puppy, the hush puppy is the first suppressor of its kind that was introduced during vietnam to literally "hush" up dogs... specifically guard dogs.

he states in the video comment that its a YHM cobra M1 suppressor.

    nice vid.

  • you have a very nice setup there man.

  • Comment removed

  • That's a hush puppy!

  • No, that's a 1911...

    A "Hush Puppy" is a Mk22

  • I know, what I meant was it's so quiet that it sounds like one.

    No disrespect intended.

  • earphones? is it that loud?

  • No, it is very quiet. But can you not hear the other people in the background shooting non-silenced guns right next to us?
