I haven't even watched the whole interview, but he reminds me of myself. I've always wanted to be interviewed like, say, a basketball player after a game. They get asked a yes or no question and go into a huge explanation answer. I would like to just say, "Yup" and have the interviewer be like, "Uhhh... ok..."

I think he's so shy because since their bands not very big, they're not used to the personal attention as individual members. Plus, it look like they were just raised to be humble too, which is awesome. He is amazing!

I volunteer for a radio station in wilmington nc and i tried to interview david. needless to say i never aired it because it was just as awkward as this. haha I thought it was me. I guess he's always like that.

@plasticase Kind of like watching a John Reuben interview, the guy is just awesome but so awkward at the same time. Wonder if that's a common trait among the crazier singers out there; good music but just really awkward in person, haha. I love this music all the same. Go Children 18:3!

Very funny - he seems like a cool guy, pretty introverted/contemplative. He really brightened up once ya got him talking about his interests with music/movies... guess he doesn't like to talk about himself too much. Congrats getting through it despite the awkward moments!
