During the Okinawan Campaign, including air attacks & battles on & over Formosa (Taiwan), ~ 7,000 japanese planes were lost while Allied losses were maybe ~ 1,000 max. Not one capital ship was sunk by Kamikazes.

By 1944 USA carriers had many AA guns. Their wooden flight decks were vunerable but also able to be quickly repaired as happned earlier in the war at the Coral Sea and/or Midway whereas the British armored flight decks when damaged could not be repaired so easily. Pros and cons both ways. Overall the Kamikaze attacks were a failure and not one capital ship was sunk.

One in partulcular is South Korea (The Japanese goverment recognizes it to be the legitemate Korea where as to them north Korea is not.)
In 1944 the War Ministry in Tokyo gave new orders to the policy towards POWs. It reads: "Whether they're destroyed indiviually or in groups, and whether it is accomplished by means of mass bombing, poisonous smoke, poisons, drowning or decapittation, dispose of them as the situation dictates. It is the aim not to allow the escape of a single one, to annihilate them all, and not leave any traces."
The Japanese Air Service would often employ bombers to attack cities that had no strategic objective. The whole point of the attacks were to strike fear and death. Often these cities were defenseless. They had AA guns no nothing. They slaughtered thousands from the air. This happened throughout China too. The Navy would as well take surrendered soldiers and civilians and ship them to Japanese-controlled territories in Manchuria, Korea, Taiwan and even Japan as slave labor.
If a woman was pregnant the Japanese-- and there's evidence for everything I'm saying--would cut the woman's stomach open and yank the baby out by the legs or throat. They would then throw the baby or simply bayonet it. Then they would often cut it not just in half but in threes and fourths. I have pictures and everything from the internet. The Japanese were savages. And it wasnt only the Imperial Army the marines of the Imperial Navy, the Air Service. All of it.
And it wasnt always so systemized. Once the Japanese entered a city they would simply run wild. No command structure what so ever. The soldiers would break into homes and search the rooms for girls. They found them and raped them. Sometimes they would even force the fathers to commit incest. Fathers forced to rape their daughters, mothers forced to rape their sons and once it was all over the Japanese would take them out into the street and either bayonet them or shoot them.
The Japanese would often take the girls needed for this sickening act from villages, sometimes right outside their homes. And these girls were sometimes only 10-12 years old being raped constantly by 20-30 sometimes 40 year old soldiers. And this happened over and over again. They werent given time to rest. They were just raped constantly in a line of soldiers sometimes servicing 100 men a day. And when the girls were pregnant the Japanese would simply sit on her stomach and force the child out.
Everywhere in Asia. The Japanese were brutal to the people they conquered. They claimed themselves to be Asian Liberators, freeing the people of Asia from European Colonialism when in actual fact the Japanese were themselves just as bad if not worse than the Europeans. They did these atrocities in Korea, Taiwan, Manchukuo (Empire of Manchuria, Japanese-controlled territories in China. Shanghai, Nanking. They set up forced prostitution in Shanghai at first with the hopes of stopping the rape acts
The Japanese murder thousands of innocent civilians. Buried them alive, leaving their head above ground only to be ripped apart by dogs, civilians experiemented on in the most gruesome ways, sometimes awake and screaming, women raped and killed right in front of their own families. Kamakazie in WW2 was a final stand to take out the US battleships. Although this ended terribly for them because less than 50% of them actually hit something. Also they were not brave. The generals said to the person who volenteered would be highly respected in thier country.
End result, but with many more Japanese civilian & military dead & wounded & many more Allied military dead & wounded, would have been the same, failure of the kamikaze and Imperial Japanese Militarists.
Bravery is not in question, and even the most vile of human beings can be brave. What is in question is the overall effectiveness of the Kamikaze and overall that was a failure. When the invasion of Japan occurred many more kamikazes would have been used on air, land & sea, but from Allied esperience in the Phillipines & at Okinawa a successful defense was quickly developed. However, due to larger numbers kamikaze would have been more effective during the initial invasion of Japan.

Only ~36 USA ships were sunk, & none were major warships, ~350 or so were damaged. Dude, think again. Out of six planes, three would hit a destroyer. A destroyer took 3 hits and sank. Six dead pilots, six planes destroyed, vs one destroyer sank and 800 Americans dead.
And the rate was 50-60%.
Also, why calling them drunks ? They had sake before going to the battle, as a ritual. In Europe, a priest came and sprayed holy water on soldiers, in Japan, they drank sake. Same thing.

Kamikaze were a last ditch effort to stop the USA & Brit. etc. forces, & the Kamikaze attacks were a failure. During the Okinawan Campaign, including air attacks & battles on & over Formosa (Taiwan), ~ 7,000 japanese planes were lost while Allied losses were maybe ~ 1,000 max. Not one capital ship was sunk by Kamikazes.

Nanking was real. Pearl Harbour was a surprise attack, before the declaration of war (not that this is inherently evil, the US was imposing sanctions on you). And thousands of captured British and American soldiers died at Japanese hands, starved, worked or beaten to death.
You broke the rules of war. At least admit it.

The United State's actions at Hiroshima and Nagasaki saved lives in the long run by ending a war that Japan would have stubbornly never given up on.
Like you see here the Japanese believed in Death Before Dishonor, think of Iraq's counter-insurgence only a thousand times worse. The war could still be going on today if it wasn't for the Atom Bomb.
Thank God for the Civilian Martyrs at Hiroshima and Nagasaki that gave their lives to end a terrible war in the bud.

By 1944 USA carriers had many AA guns. Their wooden flight decks were vunerable but also able to be quickly repaired as happned earlier in the war at the Coral Sea and/or Midway whereas the British armored flight decks when damaged could not be repaired so easily. Pros and cons both ways. Overall the Kamikaze attacks were a failure and not one capital ship was sunk.

The Japanese Air Service would often employ bombers to attack cities that had no strategic objective. The whole point of the attacks were to strike fear and death. Often these cities were defenseless. They had AA guns no nothing. They slaughtered thousands from the air. This happened throughout China too. The Navy would as well take surrendered soldiers and civilians and ship them to Japanese-controlled territories in Manchuria, Korea, Taiwan and even Japan as slave labor.

They found them and raped them. Sometimes they would even force the fathers to commit incest. Kamakazie in WW2 was a final stand to take out the US battleships. Although this ended terribly for them because less than 50% of them actually hit something. Also they were not brave. The generals said to the person who volenteered would be highly respected in thier country.

Bravery is not in question, and even the most vile of human beings can be brave. What is in question is the overall effectiveness of the Kamikaze and overall that was a failure. When the invasion of Japan occurred many more kamikazes would have been used on air, land & sea, but from Allied esperience in the Phillipines & at Okinawa a successful defense was quickly developed. However, due to larger numbers kamikaze would have been more effective during the initial invasion of Japan.

Only ~36 USA ships were sunk, & none were major warships, ~350 or so were damaged. Japanese lsot ~4,000 planes at Okinawa, & some estimates go as high as over ~7,000. 1 US destroyer was hit 5 times & did not sink. Kamikaze attacks were a last ditch effort.

Dude, think again. Out of six planes, three would hit a destroyer. A destroyer took 3 hits and sank. Six dead pilots, six planes destroyed, vs one destroyer sank and 800 Americans dead.
And the rate was 50-60%.
Also, why calling them drunks ? They had sake before going to the battle, as a ritual. In Europe, a priest came and sprayed holy water on soldiers, in Japan, they drank sake. Same thing.

China discovered gunpowder in the 10th century. This led quickly to multistage rockets, missiles, and exploding cannonballs. China had a very advanced society, way ahead of europe. Japan borrowed all of their culture from china.

It is obvious why China is on the top, if you look at their culture. They are a pragmatic, inquisitive people. They are thinkers. They can come up with original ideas, and capitalize on them. And they are good with money. While japanese are ritualistic, superstitious, afraid of orginality. You must not stray from the rest of the group. Everybody must think the same, look the same, and act the same. And japan will be envious and of China for eternity.

The Chinese for thousands of years were one of the most ideal thinkers and most advanced in the world for the longest time. It was the Chinese that, through their invention of fireworks enabled western countries to take advantage and inventing the proper use of gunpowder which formed the moder armies of today. So it's safe to say that without the chinese people and their use of fire works we'd probablt still be using swords. This is just an idea so don't start sending me hate comments.

If it wasnt for the small window in time in which european cannons had greater range than the chinese cannons, because the mother emperor's misappropriation of all the military's money, china would have entered the 20th century as THE major world power, and japan would have retained its rightful place as a footnote in history.
