Okay that help a lot i was a Freshmen this past year and i cleared 11'6 with a 12' 150 weight Rocket pole but every meet i go to and jump with the pole other Vaulters have been telling me that i am shooting out my pole an that i need a stiffer pole. What do i need to o and how much more over my weight should my pole be to be an Excellent pole.?

I am a Beginner in Pole vault and having trouble clearing 10" an my flaw is Planting the pole i slid the Pole before the box what should i do.?

@MrOrlando2011 put the pole in the box about 2/3rds the way in and then slide the pole the rest of the way
