Weird al should do another version of this song but with some modern day thing...maybe "i think i'm a troll now, there's always someone to insult" or something like that
Your right with that. I guess I meant more that his songs shouldn't be, you know, in the sense of trying to find some overtly philosophical message from them :D
It's a good point. I like to think of his music as being an ongoing humorous commentary on the evolution of pop culture, since his songs are almost always lampooning the current trends in music, among other things.
@THEMACGOD I think you have stumbled upon one of the reasons why Al is still around and still doing quite well - because he doesn't take *himself* too seriously, unlike most of the...*ahem*....artists he has spoofed over the years.
I LOVE Tiffany, but this song is AMAZING!!!

I met him once, when I worked in radio for a year. I didn't like his personality, but I still like his songs.
I didn't like MOST of the people who visited the station. Jimmy Buffett was the only exception.
He doesn't think he's all that, even when he is.

Weird Al has real talent, his lyrics makes you laugh and the man can sing goddamnit

I didn't know that making parodies of famous songs could make you successful. Weird Al" Yankovic is the master.

I know this is supposed to a funny parody but part of me feels bad for the guy who just realized he's a clone, it's tragic really.

He takes crappy but catchy songs, and injects clever lyrics into them. You can't help but improve them doing that.
