Melinda's vocal is a lot more steady than Jennifer Hudson. However, I think J-Hud did this song better because she made it more exciting and alive.

Don't get me wrong. I love both Jennifer and Melinda. Vocally, they have different strength; Melinda's vocal is very stable and sincere, while Jennifer is more passionate and jumpy. I just think both should choose appropriate songs that match their voice characteristics and personalities.
