@notriouschris 1-4 can be shifted fast and hard, 5th in this car had to be done much slower or it would basically lock me out. I guess it wasnt really a "miss" but just a noob fail, in this vid the car was about a month old.
jcballer no you dont. I have a stock 07 si sedan and ive pulled on 2 different STOCK v6 accords. One auto one manual. The manual one was faster but not even a close race. I beat both by like 3 cars by the end of 4th gear. So dont say shit that isnt true just to try to be cool. Your not
Yeah usually not that big of a difference, I've seen it go either way with Si Vs V6. When I had an Si damned V6's would only take me if It was manual. Although there was this one time when I was sure I could take this 06 V6 coupe because it had 3 fat people in it and that punk ass took me. I would always end up in front the first few seconds and then it would just pass me up. :(
This race makes sense. The 8th gen Auto sedan is a touch slower than a 7th gen auto v6 sedan. There is a race on youtube where its a 7th gen auto w/intake vs a civic si with intake and the race is a different outcome.
Well depending on the year I have no problem taking them out also, the older model mustangs were pretty slow, anywhere up to '04/05 I believe are pretty easy.
@jcballer1333 if it's manual transmission then it's okay ))) if not then si should overcome accord later on since si doesn't have enough torque to beat accord from the start.
@jcballer1333 from the lunch could be because accord has more torque but as soon as si would shift to a 2nd gear I'm pretty sure he'll pull away. But if you have v6 manual then I think it should smoke si. I have 2008 si ,but I'm realistic about what my car can do, it is fast but a lot cars around which are faster.
I know for a fact that my '09 Accord Coupe V6 A/T from a 55 mph roll beats the Civic Si but it's a pretty close race. I pulled on my friends Civic Si(both cars stock) all the way till my rev limiter kicked in at 128 mph. We tried about 4 times with the same results.
@crazyquady most likely he started in third. 55mph is a good start speed for the si cuz he is right at 6k rpm's, which, if you didn't know, is right when the vtec kicks in.
@KrzyKrnMonki a v6 accord has a better chance at beating a si from a dead stop. the si has low torque, therefore struggling to get going off the line, but from a roll it doesn't matter as much because the revs are already up.
missed 5th, actually i did in the ither vid also but still outran the accord. (5th doesnt like it to hard ive found out) this and the other vid are meant to be more of a comparison of what intake/header/flashpro can do for these cars. The accord is my fiance's and to be honest I didnt think i was going to do that well against it. Now, if it was a manual transmission it might be a different story, at least in this Vid
shut up please just say u got smoked by a v6 accord,,how the fuck u miss a 5th gear???????????????

What gear did the Si start in? I started in 3rd in this vid but if i start in 4th from a 55 roll we are dead even, maybe the coupe accord is lighter?

big difference with your new mods vs stock. You beat up the accord with your flash pro and other mods. Makes a big difference!
