Why get the exact tone if you can just make the song yours.. Zakk Wylde did not copied Randy's tone, still he is very influenced guitarist.. Like he said a guitar is just finely carved pieces of wood equipped with electronics(not too complex either), and strings. And that goes for every guitar, keep in mind I say this with no regards to heavily modded axes.

I guess my point is you can have a squier and make it sound just as good as a real strat, I"ve seen it been done I'm sure many of you have as well.
