  • I wonder why people keep putting Buon Giorno when its Ciao!

  • Ciao is more informal way to use it, and its used to say bye :p

  • I use Ciao way more! And i know it means bye too =]]

  • nameste from india

  • I want a vid where the people SAY it. Not write it on paint.exe lol

  • @stevetherriault It's mspaint.exe, thanks. :P

  • こんにちは... you should have written it in hiragana

  • ok..in french you say: SALUT not Bon Jour... lol..thats GOOD MORNING! =) ANYWAY, NICE BIDE..but u have lots of mistakes..

  • Maryangel24: Yes, it is true. BonJour it is 'Good Day' but it is used as 'Good Morning'. You can't say 'BonJour' at night, can u? But I tell you what... I'm going to ask a friend of mine. She is french, so I'll ask her and later I'll post it here the right one! :)

  • well yes, it is also used to say 'good morning', but i think there's always the meaning of 'good day/hello' behind it, if you know what i mean :)

and yup, at night it'd be bonsoir ;)

  • of course in german you say "guten Tag"

it is formal and means in english "good day"...

you also can say "Hallo" that means exactly "hello" ...

    ...i am german...

  • here goes another one for you: 'OLA' its HELLO in portuguese...its pronnounced the same way that in spanih, but only written without the 'H'! ;)

  • thnaks! that was realy informative!!... it so cool to learn german!

  • "God morgon" means "good morning" in swedish. "Hej" is "hello". I am swedish so i know.

  • salam alakum means peace be upon you. marhuban means hello i think

  • thanks for that

  • do finnish "moi" next time :D

  • doesn't that mean me?

  • no it means hi in finnish.

  • Well, guten Tag and bonjour is "good morning".

In french u can say 'salut' and I think in german is 'hallo'

  • 'bonjour' isn't good morning. it's "good day" in french, which would be a polite form of saying "hello".

  • lmao the arabic 1 is on east is east =]
