@metalblackdevilsk8 this was literally the first day i was using thsi keyboard with ableton...So not long really... Get a controller if you can, play around with ableton, get creative and you'll probably have a lot of fun :)

@metalblackdevilsk8 Well yes i did have a bit of experience in music theory and I play the piano so that makes it easier...I know how confusing it can be first, but dot worry you will learn fast, there are lots of good tutorials on youtube that you can watch... Enjoy :)

@schonsospaet22 you would save an ass load if you get a triggerfinger and an oxygen. But this guy seems to be using the touchpads to trigger samples, so you could do the same with just a triggerfinger.

@badassredskin Yes but this is not the only things I do with this keyboard. I also use it for lots of different things in my live sets... I need the faders to control crossfading, volumes and effects in ableton, the keys for recording virtual synths and the pads for trigerring samples...

this is pretty good. is it a first time for you? the melody is pretty sweet. the samples are pretty sick. bass sounds heavy. the only thing you should work on which will come over time is timing. It's obviously kind of hard to hit those all at the perfect time. i'm sure you'll get it over time

@AidanFirmLegend thanks, this was the first week i bought this keyboard and had ableton live lite, so i didnt know that much about it. the drum samples are triggerd using ableton drum rack which are not synced with the tune so i had to do it by feel which was almost impossible to keep every hit exactly on time... Now i could do it because i am much more familiar with ableton and the computer music world... :)

@shizzle160590 yeah, i'm getting into ableton live myself. I had previously been using fl studio. (have been for 3 years). I know the basics of it so far. I think it makes sense there is no mixer in ableton live. Each mixer insert for any sound or vst is on the bottom of the page. and you can add effects if you want to and edit them down there. EQ's are already provided. i think that's roughly how it works. What do you recommend for heavy reese bass sounds? i'm sure ableton comes with a good VST
