  • is that on the 101 in Encino?

  • Great Sound. Fibreglass models were produced in limited numbers (just over 700) between 1975 and 1977 before Ferrari decided to use steel for the body. These early cars are the best and were the most powerful of the 3 variants producing 255HP in Euro spec and 240HP for the US market (emissions reducing add ons reduced HP). As mentioned below they are the best sounding cars!

  • That sound so reminds me of the one for the Ford Mustang in BULLITT.

  • I always forget, carbed? Or any idea what is supposed to be the best "sounding" 308 model?

  • @Ottobon

In my opinion, the carbed models were better, seeing as you can tune them up for far cheaper, easier ( as in you could probably do it yourself if you knew how ) , and it's better than tuning an ancient fuel injection system.

I also though the carbed models seemed to have a more throaty exhaust, which sounds bitchin' when tacking it up to about 7,000 RPM..

  • Is this th eyear they where fiberglass?

  • The fiberglass ones are very rare and worth some money. I think they were built when the car first came out.

  • 1976 was the only year for the fiberglass GTB.

  • what's the deal with the 3 fiberglass car questions in a row? lol

  • There were no fiberglass 308's in 1979.

  • Is that a fiberglass car by any chance?
