basically tim burton was good to batman then joel shumacher kidnaped raped batman on pinball machine made him squel like a pig and do "batman & robin" eventually christopher nolan had to save batman from schumacher and provide theropy

Burton's batmans were alright for what they were but they were more Burton - ie warped fairy tale - than Batman - ie dark, gritty, believable - so Nolan's adaptations I think capture the material better. We can all agree that Schumacher was sent by Satan to wreck everything tho lol.
This teaser gave me shivers the first time. Now I had no doubt how good it was going to be, but GODDAMN it still surpassed my expectations and they were already pretty high!

Don't know if your an anime watcher, but michael caine's line about the joker is very true about some characters. It's still one of the best lines about the Joker.
better one is when he screams "COME ON...HIT ME" never knew heath could get so violent and dark...thats the sign of a true actor, RIP man much respect

What are you talking about? Batman Begins was able to focus on Batman, Alfred (yes, there is a story in there about Alfred, it was somewhat masked when they changed the script slightly during shooting, but it's still there), Gordon, Scarecrow, and R'as al Ghul. What did Spiderman 3 focus on? Spiderman, Venom, Sandman, and MJ. Maybe a little Gwen Stacy, but she was mainly there as a sort of cameo.
You're absolutely right! They need to focus on only a few characters to build their characters and still have a good plot otherwise it will turn into one giant cluster fuck.

I'm betting this version of Joker will be different than Jack's. To give him his props, Jack played a Joker that will never be forgotten, and is still now the best villian in film. Crazy man with an arsenal of deadly gags. I think in this version we'll see a guy who just thinks death is funny as hell, cutting smiles onto the faces of his victims with a knife.
From what I understand, Ledger's 'Joker' will be a more serious villain than the way Jack Nicholson portrayed him, which means fewer cheezy one-liners.
Some movies of Tim Burton like Sleepy Hollow, Beetlejuice or Vincent(short film) are great. But he cant represent Batman properly, his batman movies are boring.
Obviously viewers disagreed, the first Batman film netted Nicholson the highest pay for a single film in history. Tim Burton's Batman's were campy? Please.
I would partially disagree, saying the fault lied with Joel Shumacher (or Schmuck, whatever you like): the director of the last two movies in that series.
i was always underwhelmed by batman films until batman begins, becuz as a big fan it was hard to accept them as up to snuff. I think Ledger is going for a different character than Nicholson, and their performances will be like apples to oranges. Gonna be amazing!

who's plays rachael is this movie? It's not the same actor is was in the first movie. I've heard rumors that's it the actor that played MJ in the spider man movies. If so...that ruins a lot of the movie. I can't stand that actor.

This movie is guaranteed awesome. Nolan can do no wrong, Bale can do no wrong.
That JL movie will be utter crap though, have we learnt nothing from X3 and Spider-Man 3? Keep the focus on as few characters as possible!

What are you talking about? Batman Begins was able to focus on Batman, Alfred (yes, there is a story in there about Alfred, it was somewhat masked when they changed the script slightly during shooting, but it's still there), Gordon, Scarecrow, and R'as al Ghul. What did Spiderman 3 focus on? Spiderman, Venom, Sandman, and MJ. Maybe a little Gwen Stacy, but she was mainly there as a sort of cameo.

You're absolutely right! They need to focus on only a few characters to build their characters and still have a good plot otherwise it will turn into one giant cluster fuck.

I can't wait for the film, and love the dialogue as the first film, but fuck, what a boring teaser. No quick shots. None of Nolen's great imagery from the first film. No actors. I hope in a few months we get a better trailer. Ah well, this is justa teaser, and the film is ahping up to be amazing ...

I'm betting this version of Joker will be different than Jack's. To give him his props, Jack played a Joker that will never be forgotten, and is still now the best villian in film. Crazy man with an arsenal of deadly gags. I think in this version we'll see a guy who just thinks death is funny as hell, cutting smiles onto the faces of his victims with a knife.

From what I understand, Ledger's 'Joker' will be a more serious villain than the way Jack Nicholson portrayed him, which means fewer cheezy one-liners.

Some movies of Tim Burton like Sleepy Hollow, Beetlejuice or Vincent(short film) are great. But he cant represent Batman properly, his batman movies are boring.

Obviously viewers disagreed, the first Batman film netted Nicholson the highest pay for a single film in history. Tim Burton's Batman's were campy? Please.

I tought that Ledger couldnt represent the Joker properly. But now I think that his performance will be awesome.

i was always underwhelmed by batman films until batman begins, becuz as a big fan it was hard to accept them as up to snuff. I think Ledger is going for a different character than Nicholson, and their performances will be like apples to oranges. Gonna be amazing!
