Really? I don't get that at all. Yes, it's the same instrumentation, but this is nothing like McDuff or early Benson, or the stuff they did together. This is much more modern jazz. Don't get me wrong, it's great. But I would liken it closer to something like MMW then Benson or McDuff.

There are other clips of Andreas floating around on the web that are indeed soul-jazz organ trios.
