  • Don't forget you keep the sales volume points you accumulate until you can balance it out and get paid on it :)

  • Regarding the compensation system, I do not see how it is fair that someone has to balance legs of income. It appears designed to enable the company to take as much as they can and give as little as they can in return. On commission I get a percentage of what I sell, but with USANA if sales are $80,000 in one leg, but $4,000 in the other leg, you only get commission on the combined amount of $8,000. They still get $84,000. It's hard work and a gamble for the distributor. Appears immoral to me.

  • @USANAK ...Let's consider the scenario that you think is "fair". Let's say you sign up as a Distributor and do nothing. Your upline signs up someone and puts them under one of your legs. That person explodes in his business and you make a ton of money. Does that sound fair to you? Payout on balanced legs forces Distributors to do something for the money they earn. That's fair and it keeps the regulators happy. Your scenario is immoral.

  • @OomPappaBoomPa My scenario is that you get a fair cut of what you sell. USANA's scenario is that you only get a cut of what you can balance. Like the casinos, the house maintains the edge. You can't move people around later to make things balance out. The house always wins. If you sell $80,000 of product for our company, we give you a commission on the whole amount we don't rip you off by playing games with balancing legs rubbish. How is it moral if USANA gets $80,000 and you get $80?

  • @USANAK...as a Distributor, you choose which side of your business to place your customer orders on so it's easy to maintain balance on both side of your business and claim your fair share of sales.

Your argument applies to sales of Distributors below you. So, other than (possibly) having recruited these people you have invested no effort in the actual sales. I think it's perfectly fair to require that a Distributor balances both legs in order to reap the rewards of other people's efforts.

  • First, the product is good; been using it for years. Put my incurable medical condition into remission. If I stop using it the symptoms return.

HOWEVER, the company is awful! For example, took over 3 hours, 5 calls, to put in an order today. Simple or not every time you call its a major event. Super poor service! Korea or Australia, same thing.

I do NOT recommend USANA as a business. They are awful! If I ever find another product that does the same thing for me I will dump USANA with glee.

  • @USANAK ...Why don't you just sign up as a preferred customer? Your products will arrive every month at your door, you'll get a discount and there are no strings attached or contracts to sign, and you can stop any time without consequence.

Thanks for the product endorsement though.

  • @OomPappaBoomPa I try to be honest and fair, so I cannot in good conscience speak ill of the product. However, a good product does not equal a good company. Why should I have to be a PC to get proper service? As it is though I went through hours of calls, emails, faxes, and did have to sign an agreement to become a PC. If my comments prevent even just one person from getting involved with such a poorly run company, and immoral compensation system, then it is definitely worth my time.

  • @USANAK ...Careful!...your agenda is showing now. If you signed a PC agreement, why are you going through all that calling to get your product? (and...by the way, I don't believe you are). It would just be delivered to you each month. Also...signing the PC agreement doesn't lock you into anything. You can quit or put your product on hold at any time without penalty. But you already knew that.

  • @OomPappaBoomPa I thought my agenda was clear, good product, bad company. The PC I signed after I went through the mess of trying to get my first order after moving back from Korea. I've been dealing with USANA for years now in Korea, Japan and Australia, anything you try to do with them is a painful process, even cancelling a PC. Accusing me of lying does not change the reality that USANA is a badly run company that is awesomely awful to deal with.

  • @USANAK ..... USANA being a badly run company is certainly not a "reality" since I have not had the same experience and, as I previously pointed out, USANA is a front runner in awards for their customer service. Your experience is unfortunate but, I think, not the norm.

  • can you explain to me how USANA is different from the other companies... lets say UNO... how does that differ? whats the pro's and con's??
